Perfect location, very friendly host

The house has a unique position, location and privacy are out of this world. Sunsets in its magical, mediterranean garden are something to remember and save for the rest of the year’s daydreaming. Vuko was the best host we’ve ever had, cannot wait to be back for a stay at this lovely property.

The location is exceptional. The perfect getaway house. Would love to stay in warmer weather. Amazing.

We've already agreed that we have to go back! I've been booking self-catering accommodation for my holidays for the last 15 years and this has come in at the top of the list. The location is incredible; just a couple of metres from the warm clear water of the bay, with the mountains as the perfect backdrop. Three different terraces meant we could catch the sun any time of day, with our own little private dock for swimming or just relaxing. The garden area is landscaped with olive trees and even a vine. The stone-built cottage (previously a fishing cottage?) was comfortable and well furnished; the little kitchen area was well-equipped and water-pressure in the 2 bathrooms was excellent. The free wi-fi was quick and the signal strong enough that we could use it outside as well as in. Our host could not have been more friendly and accommodating - in fact he went well beyond what we expected, giving us a little tour of the area the day after we arrived. All in all, outstanding.

The only slight niggle was that the beds were a little hard.

The first thing my 15-year-old daughter said when we arrived at the house was, "This is the most beautiful holiday home we ever had." And the last thing she said when we had to leave was: "It was a great holiday." I think that says it all. It was certainly also the host's kind of affection and friendliness that made us feel so comfortable right from the start. Or was it the absolute privacy of the house? Or the great view? Or the direct and private access to the water? The many shade places on the spacious terrace of the house? Or, or or.... There were so many positive things. Thank you, Vuko, for your help and tips. We learned a lot about Montenegro through you. We promise to come back.
