Everything was perfect. The room was nice and quiet. The staff so friendly and nice. Breakfast was amazing. Location excellent. A really nice stay. Highly recommended!

Main reason for booking at Taleju was the spa. I was not disappointed. Both Anu and Simma were excellent masseuses and as a result I rebooked a number of times during my stay. Definately the best massages I had in Nepal. Breakfasts and staff were all good, and shower in the room was excellent. The location was quiet, and walking distance to Thamel and Durbar square. I had a great stay at Taleju Boutique and would recommend to any one wanting a good value for money, comfortable hotel.

Location is perfect. Though it’s in Thamel, you can have peace of mind during your stay. Great food compared to other hotels. I tried Indian breakfast, biryani and soups. All are of great taste. More than anything the staff is very courteous and helpful. They consider and deliver all your requests. Room service is very quick. Only thing I could ask for is a change of shower gel. Apart from that, all amenities provided by the hotel are amazing. Worth the money. If I’m ever in Thamel again, I would only book my stay here. Suman is very nice in fulfilling our orders. Especially customised food that we asked for. Navin and Monica are really good with information and services at front desk.

Having used the hotel previously, we liked the location - centrally positioned in Thamel.

The breakfast was cold, as it had been laid out outside and when the food came from the restaurant for room service wasn't as expected. Bathroom was tired and would benefit from a revamp.

Excellent location and beautiful hotel in Thamel. All staff are lovely and do anything to assist. Nice and modern, clean rooms. As a travel agency, we strongly recommend this hotel.

Nothing, it exceeded all my expectations

This is the second time I stayed here. It's a nice location in a quiet street, yet close to the shops and restaurants of Thamel, and about 10mins walk to Durbar Square. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the dinner was surprisingly good. The Momo and chowmein wwere freshly made and delicious. The room was comfortable and clean. I also had a massage at the wellness centre which was perfect after two weeks of trekking.

The room was a little dark. Orange juice would have been nice at breakfast, and an option for porridge.

The staff was really helpful, specially Suman at the kitchen and dining. He tried to provide the best vegetarian options to me. The garden near the restaurant is a treat to watch after the busy streets around aasan, Durbar square and most parts of Kathmandu.

The location is both a boon and a curse, it’s very close to many of the attractions but the proximity also means it’s in a very congested area. The property could do better maintenance and some more cleanliness.

Firstly, whenever I would be visiting again I would love to meet the Hotel staff in person. They have created and made the memories for life. Altogether the property, food, location, ambience, room, amenities, staff was all exceptional and outstanding.
