Thanks to super friendly and flexible staff we had a great time in wonderful Ollantaytambo. The accommodation is close to Inka ruins. Its nice, clean and cheap - garden is a great bonus.

Very good position, place and room were very very nice.

Wifi does not work really well, but i had this problem quite often in Perù.

Breakfast was packed as a lunchbox so we could go out 5 am

That you could lisen everything from next rooms. It was little bit difficult to sleep when another people were talking.

Amazing value and location. It is literally right next to the archeological sight. The room is very large especially given the cost. You are usually looking at dormitory style hostels at this price range. Even comes with free breakfast!

Hot water is limited. There is only one knob and if you turn it too far even just a bit, it'll turn cold. Don't turn it enough and no water comes out at all. The only way you can get hot water is have the pressure set very low and you will end up cold anyways. Not really an issue but host does not speak Spanish. Just something to be aware of.

The location was convenient to the main town( which is not that big), it felt safe and easy walk to the train station.

No hot water and the doors were locked to the outside. While trying to leave early for my train ride, I was almost late because I couldn't get out until I called out for at least 10 minutes.

It is very close to the archeological site and it has a beautiful interior garden. Helpful staff and clean room. I recommend it.

The rooms are exactly what they look like in the pictures, no surprises. The staff is helpful, especially Alexander (he was wonderful). Good location, convenient to anything. The breakfast is probably not worth the extra charge unless you do eat VERY light in the morning

The lights outside the rooms are on sensors so if anyone walks by at night your room gets lit up

Location was great, 2 steps from the ruins.

The staff seems to be from a different planet. Direct communication was very difficult even though we understand basic Spanish and we would use Google translate for what we don't understand. We booked a room with breakfast included. On multiple occasions, they tried to make some extra money from said breakfast, either saying it's only included for adults and not the child, or that it only included some tea and cofee and anything extra needs to be payed. Also, it took more than 40 minutes to be served, on every day, so take that into account if you are on a schedule. The room and bathroom were dark, cold and dirty. There was no wardrobe. Bathroom had mold on the walls. There was no hot water and, on our last day, no water at all for a while. Our room was just below a hallway with wooden floor, so it was quite noisy. I am aware this is a low budget accommodation, we generally travel on a low budget and we did not expect luxury. But we always expect a minimum of cleanliness and common sense. We did not find either there, it was one or the worst places we stayed.
