The look and feel (I like it old school), amazing location, enjoyed the bathtub alot. Nice size room. Good service, called the reception twice and they came up with what I needed in short time.

Very quirky room. Massive bathroom, lovely breakfast. Great location, on the old Quarter (it's one of the old merchants buildings), 10 mins walk to train station, 5 min walk to funicular.

Pillows were a bit soft. But that's personal preference!

Perfect location near the harbour and funicular. Spacious room with very comfortable bed and good sized bathroom with bath and shower. Toiletries provided. Buffet breakfast with large choice of cooked items, cold meats, cheeses etc, fruit and cereal. Staff friendly and helpful

Amazing ambiance, very friendly staff and the location was just perfect. Spacious and cozy rooms, great shower, loved the water pressure. Wonderful breakfast!

There's a night club right outside the hotel, so if your room is on that side, ear plugs are a must. Pillows are not super comfortable.

Central Location. Easy to get from and back to the airport. Great breakfast. Spacious room. Nice bathroom with tub.

The hotel served a superb breakfast and the Cc restaurant has a lovely ambience. Our suite was stunning with original wooden construction and walks, plenty of space brimming with character. The building was constructed in 1705.

Nothing to fault.

Das Frühstück war gut, reichhalatig und hat alles beinhaltet, was man sich wünschen konnte. Frisches Brot, toller Aufschnit, frischer Lachs, frische Krabben, Eier aller Sorten, Käse, Marmeladen, der kaffeauomat war super. Das Bad sehr modern und kofortabel. Es fehle allerdings deer Vergrößerungsspiegel und der Fön war für eine Frau zum Frisieren nicht zu gebrauchen.

Das Zimmerr ein dunkles Loch. Einrichtung 60-ziger jahre und äter. Teppichboden abgewetzt, 1 schummerige Declenleuchte, genauso wei die nachtischlampen. Einheruntergekommenes Zimmer. Auf das Doppelbett 2 schale Bettlaken aufgezogen. Nicht zum Wohlfühlen!!!

Breakfast, location, and staff were all lovely. Room was large, especially for a European hotel room, though somehow not quite comfortable. I loved the Nespresso machine! They also managed to get the room free of my allergens (wool and down).

Never stay in central Bergen on a Saturday night! People were cheerful and having fun, but the party didn't shut down until 2:45 am. Not the fault of the hotel, of course. And it would be nice if there was a way to turn on the light in the toilet area without lighting up the whole bath area (and thereby waking the partner). We used our phones, and it was okay, but....

it is worth mentioning that there is a bar/nightclub catty corner to the hotel that was VERY popular and played loud music until about 3 am on the weekend nights.

The location is superb - close to transport, museums and right in the middle of Bryggen. The shower was excellent, breakfast good.

We had a junior suite. Big room with comfortable furniture. The room had some wood paneling and wood beams on the ceiling. Our bathroom was newly up dated with a separate tub and shower. We loved the historic look. Also, step across the street and you're at the fish market, very short walk to a funicular.and the city center. Breakfast was ok, i would have liked a few more options such as porridge. Great coffee!

Great location by the harbour, good access to shops, historical sights, restaurants, funicular railway and the sight seeing ferry's. Set in an old wooden building that's part of the historical harbourside Hanseatic trading area. Staff were friendly and helpful. A good breakfast was served in a comfortable dining area, and our room was clean with a spacious modern bathroom and a large powerful walk in shower. Blackout curtains on the windows helped with the early morning sunrise we experienced in the spring.

Our first impression was the interior was a little tired. During our stay the corridor outside our room was lined with old or spare chairs and two fold up camp beds were left outside our door. Our room was spacious but the painted black light switches were getting worn so the white plastic showed through. Silver paint was wearing off a mirror in our room so the wood was visible in places. Our room was on the same side as the entrance, over the weekend a club/bar a few yards away to the left played loud dance music to the early hours that kept us awake. It is a charming hotel in a historical area, but we thought some issues undermined all the good points.

not very clean, room was dusty and we found a previous guests contact lens on the floor, toilet brush was dirty. room was dated and in need of a facelift. poor quality pillows and towels.
