The breakfast room

Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes, mit schweren dunklem Mobiliar aber gut ausgestattetes Hotel. Schöne Lage am Strand und nahe zu Porto. Kostenloser Hotelshuttle nach Porto und Espinho. Auch fußläufig zum Bahnhof Granja gelegen. Gut geeignet für einen Städtetrip.

Die Organisation im Speisesaal beim Frühstück. Familien mit Kindern wurden kleine Tische zugewiesen obwohl ausreichend große zur Verfügung standen aber schon fürs Abendessen blockiert wurden.

The room was much bigger and spacious than I expected, it was also much more modern than I assumed it would be by looking at the hotel's exterior. Same for the hotel in general, much more modern, classy and well kept than I expected. The view was yet another very pleasant surprise. The breakfast was good, decent variety and the food was well made and, seemingly, fresh. It's also very close to the beach, there's even a direct, private access from the hotel. There's 2 pools, 1 indoor and 1 exterior, both are spacious and with a lot of sunbeds. The water for both pools was heated which is also quite nice.

The hotel exterior looks very dated and ugly, perhaps some improvements can be made there as well. The room bathroom was a bit ugly, outdated and the bathtub wasn't the cleanest, same for the balcony. The outdoor pool also was a bit dirty.

Excellent stay snd staff. They just need to improve on the accessibility rooms.

The accessibility of rooms need to improve. They need taller toilets in the rooms for anyone with a disability. Also there was a lack of rooms (family adjacent rooms) with a walk-in shower for those that cant not enter/exit the bath due to disabilities.

Very nice hotel with a balcony overlooking the sea. The staff are so friendly, couldn't do enough for you. Good breakfast. We particularly like the bar with beautiful live music during our stay.

A kettle would be great

Location is fantastic, long board walk to going south and north along tranquil beaches leading to neighbourhood towns . Fantastic breakfast, great coffee. Best spa facilitates I’ve ever been to.

It’s not very customer centric. We have missed opening hours of direct beach access gate. when rang the reception we have been told that it’s been out of operating hours and we have had to go all around about 4km to the next tunnel under the train tracks which are running around the coast between the beach and the hotel. the hotel reception is about 60m from the gate so really someone could have just come let us in. be aware of 1 iron in the whole hotel. if someone else uses it at the time, you’ll be offered laundry service next day or two so plan your outfits well in advance :-/
