The location of the property was perfect, been able to park our car in their car park was ideal.
Nothing was too much trouble, always obliging and such friendly faces and engaged well with guests at breakfast time, asking about their day ahead offering advice and how the day before went too.

Great location, friendly and interested host. Room was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and plenty of options. Parking is compact but just ask for help getting out and all is good! Would definitely recommend 🙂.

Matthew and Lucy were lovely. The breakfast was fabulous room was also fabulous and very clean. Location was also good plus had car parking. Hope to be back soon.

Excellent location, convenient parking, terrific breakfast with wide assortment of goodies with delicious cooked to order plates. The staff was cordial and helpful.

Everything about our visit surpassed expectations. Elder Grove B&B was clean, the room was comfortable, Lucy and Matt were lovely hosts and breakfast was very well oresented. Would visit again in a heartbeat.

Lovely clean hotel, fantastic breakfast, superb hosts. Great location just a couple of minutes walk into the town centre of Ambleside and minutes away from amazing walks.

Beautiful rooms and really clean. Lovely breakfast. Great location, quick walk into the centre of town and close to the start of some beautiful walks. Host were lovely and so accommodating.

Lucy and Matt are lovely hosts. The breakfasts were fabulous every morning. Matt was so friendly and has a great sense of humour. The lovely touches of the Herdy crockery, very comfortable clean beds a home from home.
The location only, a main road in Ambleside opposite a garage, but blackout blinds were provided and very useful.

the property was in a very convenient location near the town centre and the bed was comfortable and clean.

Friendly welcome. Fantastic breakfast with lovely homemade touches ( wonderful marmalade made by Lucy) Local produce use wherever possible . Comfortable beds. Great power shower again locally produced products. It is lively to stay somewhere with so many personal touches that still retains high quality . We will be sure to be back.
We didn't mind it but there is no lift and lots of stairs so this may be an issue for others.

Very nice room, bed,,bathroom ornaments, room refreshments, carpet, bathroom and windows. Very pleasant staff- always respectful and polite🤭. Will certainly be back..
The breakfast was exceptional, but the egg was underneath the fried bread. One prefers one's fried eggs strictly ofn top of one's fried bread😐
