Although it says reception is available 24/7 - it is impossible to talk to them over the phone. We had our heating not working.

When you check-in you have to pick up the keys pretty far from the appartments.

The registration desk is rather far from apartment. They declare their apartments as non-smoking, but there is an ashtray in the room. We had a situation when a neighbor was smoking on the balcony and all smoke was going to our apartment where the baby slept. Noone reacts to our claim about this.

4pm check in and 10am check out is not good on average 6 hours less time spent in the apartment compared to other places, also be aware you collect the keys from a different hotel 1.6km away. no oven in the kitchen. no kettle. apartment was cold.

Very clean, and has great value for money. We were positively surprised. Well-equipped kitchen, big shower, and bathroom. Big TV. Cozy. Peaceful area, you can hear the sea waves from your apartment. The view to the swimming pool. EXCELLENT STAY

When we entered the apartment it was smelling horribly. Our predecessors had smoked inside! only after three consecutive days of ventilation, it was bearable. this took away a lot of the holiday feeling.

"Madlen" apartment on the 2nd floor: spotlessly clean; bed firm but comfortable; quiet surroundings; excellent wifi signal. Good quality modern furnishings and equipment and bright, attractive decor. Splendid bathroom with perfect hot shower and a vast supply of towels ! Friendly and efficient check-in procedure at the Sunway Hotel reception.

Microwave oven is in a cupboard with a door which opens at head height - be *very* careful ! - awkward to lift out dishes of hot food. Filter coffee machine rather small and flimsy: OK for one person (I was on my own) but probably not so good for a group; no kettle. Cooking smells from other apartments sometimes seep through the ventilation system. Sliding doors on wardrobe in bedroom did not always run smoothly and sometimes jammed.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, making the sign-in process easy (even with a late arrival). The accommodation is excellent. It feels new, spacious, and modern. I was highly impressed as the pictures on the site do not do it justice. It is a short walk from the centre. I thought this would be an annoyance, however it made for a lovely stroll in the early evening and then again after the bars and clubs.

It is a long distance to collect your keys - it was an additional EUR10 from the key pick-up to the accommodation. This is far from ideal, and is something anyone should be aware of when booking the hotel. The aircon was inconsistent, and more than once tripped when we were staying there.

Location of the hotel and where you collect the keys to your room is different. This wasn't mentioned to us before we arrived to the property. So we needed to walk to the main hotel with our luggage which is 15 min by foot on the edge of the town and back to where we are staying in the middle of a hot day. Also on the day you leave if you want to store your luggage until your train/bus time, again you need to go to the mail hotel and store your luggage there which is completely on the other side of the town. Another friend staying in another location of this apartment complex mentioned they had a fire in the apartment complex they are staying in in the middle of the night. And because all the workers are working in the main hotel there wasn't anyone to talk to in the middle of the night before it was made sure it is safe to go back to the apartment. It shouldn't be difficult for them to leave one person at the actual apartment locations to do the checking in and made sure you are contactable when needed!

The person on the front desk at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The location of the apartments is superb - 2 minutes walk from the beach. Pool is a good size and well maintained, with separate kids pool. Apartment is air conditioned. Good size for a couple. We had an issue with the shower not draining one evening. I messaged the owners via the WhatsApp contact provided, got an immediate response and the shower was sorted quickly. This was in contrast to last year when my WhatsApp message (about the safe not working and the wardrobe doors coming off their runners) was never answered or addressed. So improvement there.

The keys have to be picked up from a hotel a relatively long way from Sitges station and also from the apartment. We had to get a taxi from the station to the hotel (we'd made the mistake of walking the previous year) and then it's a bit of a hike back to the apartment. We're reasonably fit so didn't mind walking but anyone older or infirm, with kids and/or lots of luggage would need a car or taxi to the apartment also after getting the keys. This is all a pain after a long journey. The apartments are nice - we'd stayed the previous year and returned - but lack a few little extras. For example, there are only around half a dozen really old loungers around the pool - for 20 odd apartments. It's not enough. The apartments themselves have only the most basic utensils - fine for us as we didn't really cook there, but could be an issue for families wanting to make meals. Little things - the cutting board for example was really old and pathetic. How much would it cost to replace those with new ones?

We had to collect key about 20 min walk from apartment complex, pretty tough on a very hot day. I feel at the price someone could have met us at complex . Nice apartment with lovely balcony overlooking the pool. Location to beach was great (beach towels would have been handy) Approx 20 min walk into the Old Town with all the restaurants etc. Sadly only basic kitchen equipment, no kettle for coffee/tea, had to boil a pot. Floors had been mopped but I had to sweep them to remove grit & sand. Overall, I would stay again but I think some things could be improved

Someone could perhaps meet you at apartment rather than getting taxi to apartment, register & get key, then have to call another taxi to apartment. Beach towels would have been great.

Nice studio and apartments with all the basic stuff you need, decorated with a touch of modern-style furniture. very good technical assistance: we had a problem with the air-con in the middle of the night (heat wave) and the 24h phone number - with a technician accesible at the other side of the phone who managed to solve it and made it work again. Cleaning was very good. really close to the center (10min walk) but away from the noise in a very calmed area with the beach 2min distance. the swimming pool was also ok. good overall.

even if mentioned in the booking, please be aware that there is no reception in the same building and the check-in / pick up of the keys need to be done in another hotel 20min walking distance from the apartment, with no possibility for anyone to hand over the keys closer to the apartment. To bear this very much in mind if you do not travel by car, with many suitcases and staying with kids (as in our case) as logistics get complicated. Also the check-in time is at 16:00 (quite late) and check-out at 10:00 (although we were given some minor flexibility there - which was pretty appreciated) but, again, no place to store the luggage but in the main hotel (again to another 20min walking distance and not huge availability in term of taxis in Sitges) so we ended up travelling back earlier than what we had planned to avoid the back and forth in the middle of the summer heat.
