Quaint hotel in friendly little town. Other guests praised the food of the restaurant in the evening (which I didn’t try therefore I have no personal opinion).

The staff was not hospitable and didn’t try to communicate with me, even most simple English words were out of their league to make me feel welcome. I would have welcomed a heartfelt Italian welcome, but that lacked as well. The food smell in the room was terrible. The mattrass was horrible, imagine feeling all the springs at night. Room was cold and heating didn’t function well.

Everyone was very nice and helped me with the bike when I had some problems. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious . The room and the bathroom were very big.

Breakfast was a bit weak in my opinion —lots of processed food. My room was next to the cleaning storage room so there was quite some noise early in the morning.

Like stepping back into the past, a very good, popular restaurant with excellent staff. Large bedroom and bathroom

the property is a charming old style hotel, at first appearance clean. the room very bid and typical. the bed felt very old but in keeping with hotel. the bedsheets were clean. however to my horror my son and I woke up covered in red spot which at first I thought might be mosquitoes despite not hearing any, and upon going to a pharmacy was told we were covered in bed bugs bite. horrifying. the hotel denies on could possibly be from his room when it was obviously was as it happened when we slept there. the furniture are old and so was the bed. yes clean but I doubt they steam the mattress after ever customer.

the total lack of customer service. the reluctance of manager to accept liability for the bed bugs. disgusting

Location good for overnight stop driving from NL to IT. Breakfast was okay.

Main thing missing was aircon. We arrived on a very hot day in summer. Restaurant was fully booked so we were driving around to find a restaurant

Original charm from the beginning of the last century cleverly preserved. THe garden with antiqu grineri is beautiful and we ar soory that we did not have a time to use it more. Owner and stuff were very discret but helpful, being so naturaly and familiar with us. Food in the restorant exceptional / risotto al barolo e fonduta/

owner is a liar. we booked for 2 people using the app and selected 2 beds, but when we arrived he said we need to pay another 25 euro for 2nd person. very common in italy to scam tourists.

The breakfast was ok, but it could have more things. The place was very nice. It had a great natural surrounding and it's close to Lago Maggiore.

The breakfast could have had more options. It had good coffee, good juice, but it needed more options to eat.

Very nice atmosphere and kind manager. Breakfast was in a cozy room where the manager told about the history of the building.

Asked for one large double bed which was confirmed. Got two single beds in the end.

Excellent location near Swiss border. Rooms spacious and clean. Excellent restaurant for dining.
