There were great well marked hiking trails all around and near to the property, Unusual in the Baja. The marina is high end with plenty of people and I think they made the trails. Carlos Slim has his yacht Ostar there at the end of the road 1000 meters from the property. The rooftop bar at the marina has live music.

I love the laid-back vibe of this property. This is our third or fourth return trip. It’s a bit far away from everything, so you’ll need a car. But great restaurant on site. Reasonable prices at the restaurant.

Location and clean but somewhat rundown, Food and service was good.

Pool area needed work and rooms were were clean but no ambience. Balcony in need of repair.

The breakfast was very good, we were given tickets for a free breakfast, restaurant service was friendly. Super sized margueritas, very tasty.

Being asked to pay when Booking.com had already charged our credit card for the stay. The pool was dirty, miscommunication about the floor level of the booking. Stated all rooms on ground floor, and the room they tried to give us was on second floor up stairs with no elevator. They did change our room to a first floor, but then there was no hottub as promised, room descriptions are misleading.

I liked the whole setting, the garden, the dinner, and the choice of music in the restaurant.

Breakfast was very simple, and breakfast personnel a little grumpy.

they didn’t serve breakfast until 8 and you could not get coffee until then either. Our room did not have coffee maker as others did and our shower barely had water coming out of it.

Lovely grounds, very good dinner. Shower was a bit weak but the room was comfortable and the AC worked great.

More clarity on the pricing. It was quoted at $85 including taxes but turned out to be $95.

We checked in late and checked out early, so we never got to see the place in the light which was a bummer because it looked beautiful. The reception service was excellent and the restaurant super friendly and tasty!

There could have been just a little more lighting around the grounds.

Hotel Tripui is a charming garden oasis hotel. The beautiful grounds are designed to attract birds and the pool is large, the temperature is always perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a good menu, the food is good. We will stay here again.

At breakfast we told waiter we were guests at the hotel but he gave us the non-guest menu so we had to pay fro breakfast when it should have been free. Restaurant should add vegan menu items.

A few small things... the toilet seat would not stay up, the water faucet was junk and would not turn off, with water pressure at a dribble. For a high end hotel, disappointing.

The hotel building and garden and pool were very pretty.

We were looking forward to our stay especially after the long drive from Los Barriles. This is is NOT a pet friendly hotel!!!! There were so many pet restrictions it made it a human UNFRIENDLY hotel. Dogs are only allowed in the rooms WITH their owners- never left alone and never in the little outside patios in front of the rooms or in the pool area - even on leash. This means humans can’t enjoy the pool or the patio. Wi-Fi was non existent in the rooms and only av at the pool but humans can’t be at the pool to use the Wi-Fi if they are stuck in the room with their pet. The breakfast was supposed to be at 7:45. We gave up and left at 8:00 when there still was no breakfast. The hotel did allow two friendly neighborhood dogs not on a leash and numerous cats to roam freely throughout the property. False advertising profiting off innocent customers is NOT acceptable. We will not be back!!

great pool and restaurant ,food was very good, staff was excellent,the grounds were very pretty,a very tranquil place

no coffee in room ,asked for a coffee maker and Paula brought us one,the mattresses were a bit old,but not a problem,

The hotel was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean with a patio area facing the pool.

The beds were very firm and only double instead of queen. The sheets didn't fit very well, so became untucked leaving me sleeping on the mattress cover by the end of the night. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge to keep drinks cold throughout the day.

Overpriced based on amenities that we couldn’t use. Restaurant was overly priced. Wi-Fi didn’t work. staff seemed less than thrilled to have us there
