Everything was perfect ! Condo , location , communication .! Condo was clean Upon arrival. The beachy furnishings made it so special. Would stay again.

Our family debated between 2 places to stay - one being a bit further from the “action” which would require a car. We chose this unit and couldn’t have been happier. The unit was larger than expected (in the living area). Not only does it face the gulf and overlooks the pool on the second floor, but it is just steps away (across the street) from the Johns Pass Boardwalk which we frequented every day. The unit itself was clean and had everything we needed including beach towels, umbrella and chairs. One thing to note which wasn’t clear in the listing is the living room couch is not a pull out. But there is a daybed (in addition to the main king bed) in the bedroom that has a pull out trundle. To give the privacy to the kids and adults, we moved the two daybed mattresses into the living room (super easy). Another benefit was the extra sink/vanity in the storage closet that’s just off the bedroom - this was helpful considering there was just one main bathroom to share. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing a fan/sound machine to block out the noise as the trash chute is right near the unit and is very loud (and it can get noisy hearing all the neighbors running around). One covered parking spot near the stairwell and coin operated laundry (outside the unit) was convenient. Overall I would recommend!

The condo itself was larger than expected. There is a lot of room in the walk in closet, and it is stocked with beach toys, umbrella and some chairs...perfect for what you need to relax on the beach. It was great having the pool right by the beach as well. Walked to John's Pass almost every day, the shopping, restaurants, and board walk was wonderful. We had 4 people in the condo and it worked out great. I would reccomend this condo for anyone. Location is everything, and can't get much better than this, beautifully decorated, the balcony is perfect for catching the amazing sunsets. Thank you for having us!

We picked a great first time ever beach front stay. Great location easy beach access and close to food and shopping. Loved having an adding parking spot for no extra charge.

Should consider keeping prices in line with surrounding places.

One of the best locations in Madeira Beach. Spectacular views from the beach facing balcony! Elevator cleanliness can be improved. Good communication with management resolved an issue with wet floors, and a second issue with someone occupying the reserved parking spot for 24 hours. Brandon was responsive on a Sunday to bring a plumber in and keep the floors dry. He also found a temporary parking spot as needed. iTrip refunded 10% of the nightly rate to compensate for the inconvenience. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Although this second-floor, one-bedroom condo’s furnishings could stand a bit of a sprucing us, and a deep cleaning, the location couldn’t be beat. The private balcony overlooks the pool and the beach, and there was direct access to both. Pluses include safety and security, and an extra mirror and sink in the bedroom walk-in closet to supplement the single bathroom. Minuses include “echo-ey” hallway noise, and although having a trash chute in the hall was convenient, hearing it clatter whenever anyone used it throughout the night was a downside. Kitchen utensils were a bit sparse, but adequate for our extended weekend stay. All-in-all, a positive stay.

Pros and Cons: Pros: The location of this property and it's views cannot be beat. It is just across the street from the John's Pass boardwalk, which has enough restaurants, shopping and activities to stay busy for a week! We walked there every day. And the beach view is spectacular - gorgeous sunsets every night and it is mere steps out from the pool. The balcony was wonderful, we were out there most of the time we were at the condo. Communication with the property manager was very easy, and all the security measures on the property were very nice to have in place. Cons: This unit is BEAT and is showing it's age. Needs some TLC in almost every area of the unit. Also in desperate need of a very thorough deep cleaning. Bed linens and towels were fresh and counters/tables were clean, but you can tell it's all spot cleaning. Overall we had a good stay and very much enjoyed the area, and the location of the condo.

Great condo and great location - was in town for a wedding and this was the perfect spot to base out of. Great pool area and beautiful beach. Walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Condo was clean and had all the basic needs for our two week stay.

We stayed with our 10 month old and the unit was bigger than expected. We requested a crib, high chair and bouncer which were all there as soon as we arrived which was a life saver. Great location. I had read some reviews of the unit being noisy to sleep in but we didn’t notice at all and being right next to the elevator, trash shoot and laundry was more convenient than any noise we would occasionally hear.

First of all I would like to say that we paid over $1500 for a five day stay at this premises. Please bear that in mind when you read my comments. Starting with the positives first, the view and proximity to the beach , very good.The bed was comfortable. That’s about it. The unit and in fact the whole complex was very run down and in desperate need of a good clean and update. The glass table in the unit had a chip in it, a large area of paint had come off of one of the kitchen unit doors, the fridge was so old that it had rust all up the side, there was some damage to the back of the bathroom door, there was a hair clip on the bedside table, a toothpick on the bed base and a coat hanger under one of the cushions of one of the settees. There were scuffs and marks all over the place and skirting boards and backs of doors were dirty. The toilet brush looked like it had never been changed. Finally the keypad on the unit door was a bit of a nightmare as it was very hit and miss, sometimes it would work first time, other times it would take three or four goes before it would work. The whole building was very noisy. As mentioned by other reviewers, the lift and trash shute were very noisy with some very ignorant people using the trash shute literally at all ours of the night. Some may think I am being over critical, but I refer to how much we paid. Finally none of the issues I have mentioned could have been solved by contacting the management whist we were there. Won’t be back.

Only improvements that I could recommend is making sure ALL tenants refrained from smoking on their deck and around the pool area. Also I didn't think pets were allowed except service dogs. There were dogs barking late at night.

The room was nice. You could not complain about the view right across the street from Johns Pass exactly what we hoped for.

Nice condo with the best location. Literally across the street from John's pass. Bedroom has a sink and vanity in the closet which is nice for more than one person getting ready to go out at the same time. Bed is comfortable. Couch with fold out bed was not as comfortable. There are beach chairs, boards and sand toys in the closet for use on the beach, along with a cooler bag to pack for drinks and snacks. I would definitely stay here again

Great location. We had a nice stay. You really don't need a car because there's a pool and the beach on one side and shops and restaurants across the street on the other side. Living room furniture could use and upgrade, but other than that, the unit has everything you need.

I've been vacationing at Sandy Shores condos for around 8 years now. While I do enjoy the location, the beach, pool and amenities, I most likely won't be able to return next year due to the price increases. We noticed a definite increase in empty condos there this year. The place seemed empty compared to previous years. I can only assume that other families also are unable to afford the price increase. Hopefully the condo owners will notice this and lower the prices some.

Overall the stay was great. It was close to all the shops and restaurants. The beach was beautiful. Two things we found, one the floor was dirty but not unbearable and being so close to the elevator/trash disposal gets a little loud at times. It did make it convenient but others staying in the building we inconsiderate of how loud they were. Maybe they were unaware. Want to send a big shout out to Tim with the beach chair and umbrella crew. He was very attentive and helpful with his knowledge of the area. We would definitely stay here again. Happy travels to all.

Had a great overall trip but should have listened to the other reviews about the building and unit needing to be updated and cleaned better. The unit had a horrible mildew smell and floors were not clean. I did message the company and they offered to bring a damp rid out next day. The location was perfect for johns pass but next to public beach. Next time we will be staying in a different condo

The condo was perfect. It has an amazing view of the ocean that was so relaxing/peaceful to experience every day! The condo was within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The best part besides the view was the short time it took to walk out to the beach. Amazing experience!

Had a great time. Was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Being right on the beach gave us the perfect views and access we were looking for. Dolphins everywhere made it even better!

My wife and I have stayed at Sandy Shores condo's in Maderia Beach often. This unit is very nice and clean with Direct Gulf front views. Highly reccomend.

Great location. Unit itself needs an update. Walls need painting, bathroom needs an update. Overall just tired looking.

The property is in a great location, safe, secure, air conditioning worked great, we would definitely stay here again! Only negative is could use more seating (we had family visit that live nearby) and floor wasn't very clean. Walking barefoot after shower, our feet were black. No biggie, we just wore our sandals, no need to call and complain about something like that.
