Looking for a less busy place than on the opposite side of the bay (with Nafplion and Tolo) we found the cosy little town of Xiropigado and were really happy with our choice! Everything is in walking distance and you can drive to many interesting places in under an hour. The small local beach is ok for a refreshing swim, but there are a lot of nice beaches both north and south to explore. The owner Peggy was really welcoming and very helpful, we could reach her for questions any time. She speaks very good english and kindly offered us an upgrade for the room. The apartment was modern, clean and in a very good condition! We had everything we needed, the kitchen is small but well equipped so we could prepare our breakfast and dinner. But of course there are plenty of options nearby to eat which we did not try due to a rather short stay. The mini market around the corner is convenient for anything you need. We stayed during the heatwave with over 40 degrees, so the aircon was struggling a bit to get the room cooled, but we slept really well and it was not getting overly hot inside. Unfortunately we only stayed for two nights before the end of our holiday, but would come back here any time for a stopover!

Nothing to complain, we only regretted having to leave too soon...
