The cottage was
' close to the beach and shops
The road to the cottage was narrow and the car How to be reverse back down the road to get out?

Location and the local amenities. The kitchen was second to none, we used very little because we were out all day. I am not sure that they didn't have anything you could ever need.
The kettle because you had to be careful when pouring. We didn't like the sofas, a bit uncomfortable for us, so we wouldn't have liked staying in for long periods

The location was excellent, 2 min walk from the beach and a great bar/restaurant. A good base for exploring the area which has a lot to offer.

Such a great little cottage . .best place we have stayed in a good while: comfy, lovely homely atmosphere, interesting photos showing history of Fishertown, well equipped, well located for beach and town, good value.
Dog friendly but not upstairs. Parking outside requires reversing in: . . tricky if you have a wide vehicle, although plenty other free parking close by so it wasn't an issue.

Charming, clean, traditional cottage in a wonderful, quiet location, with a lovely garden to sit in. Just minutes from the beach and the High Street. The kitchen was well equipped and the sofas in the living room were comfortable. The flooring was very practical for sandy paws.
The week wasn't long enough and we will recommend this cottage to our friends. Didn't want to leave.
As is the case in most Fishertown houses, the stairs are narrow and steep. My 89 yr old mother in law managed them with care. There is no wardrobe space, but ample hangers and drawer space.

Location fab, lots of toys for our 9 year old, lovely walks on doorstep. Good to have enclosed front garden for the dog. Well stocked kitchen
It would have been good to have a stair gate to help keep pets downstairs and as stair steps were narrower than normal it could be difficult for very young children. We went into what we thought was seashell cottage back garden but neighbour said it belonged to her - she was very nice about it and said it happens all the time. Might be an idea to add that into your information. Husband banged his head a few times when leaving bathroom- finally it is helpful for me to be short!
