the location is scenic and one can enjoy this beauty while sipping tea on the upper deck in the evenings.

the frequent power cuts and AC not functioning properly were bit disappointing.

The rubber trees in this property. View from the room, view from the restaurant, calm place, friendly staff.

No maintenance. Had visited this property 4 years back and nothing has changed. Same old Ambience, this property requires urgent maintenance. There were USED pillows in the cupboard, no value for the money you pay. Room service menu price too is a bit high. Just a one time visit place, that too I wouldn't suggest for this price. Wifi- very poor (if you plan to do some office work from there).

I am giving a 9 only because compared to my previous stay in early 2019, the iron fittings appear rusted and its slightly run down in the Chakra cottage.

Anantya Resort is a beautiful resort attached to a huge rubber plantation on the scenic shores of Lake Chittar, just a few hours from either Kanyakumari or Trivandrum. What a beautiful experience! Four days in the midst of nature with an experience of great hospitality, great food, and neat and clean villas. The place was so beautiful and peaceful. It's absolutely a fantastic place to relax with a peaceful environment, beautiful surrounding lake and mountains. Very well-maintained villas, fantastic food, and very courteous people, from restaurant people to housekeeping, make the stay memorable. Everyone is ever willing to help. They have a gorgeous swimming pool, which, though small, seems to merge with the lake. They have a nice play area for the kids, a bicycling facility, a fantastic walk through the rubber wood forests, etc. Even though packages might appear slightly expensive, they're really good value for money, and in the end, you feel it's money well spent!!
