Location, room was large by European standards, clean, quiet, has an elevator. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was disappointing. had cereal but no milk, tea no hot water, etc..l saw no wait staff to order coffee, or milk.

The hotel location is excellent The shuttle back and forth to the beach was easy and continuous throughout the day. The best part of the hotel is the Staff. alexandra was superb in helping us with everything. all staff members were kind and Uber helpful. the front desk were top notch and made sure our stay was perfect. would love to return!

Great hotel. Just a short walk (or shuttle) to the beach and just a short walk up to the old historic centre which is full of great restaurants, pastry and ice cream shops. The property is much larger than it appears. Great business Centre. Hotel is well maintained with a nice clean modern feel. Great selection at breakfast. Huge breakfast area.

The toilet facilities at the beach bar should be cleaned more often and checked for paper and soap etc. Very frustrating when you are at a beach and can't go else where

Great location. Just down the street from the lower part of Sperlonga and the beach and a close trek up the hill to the old Sperlonga. Helpful staff who spoke excellent English. Room was clean and modern. Great variety at the breakfast buffet with a huge selection of pastries.

The pool tiles were falling apart.

The hotel was great - clean, spacious and staff were very friendly and able to help out with english/italian! The breakfast was included and was amazing with so many options! They offered a shuttle bus to their own beach for a fee - we did not use this service. They also have a great pool area which we did use. The hotel location was good in terms of walking to a different beach, shops, restaurants and up to Storico Centro.

The beach club is excellent. Although it should be included in the rate.

A very nicely designed hotel with large outdoor patio seating areas, including a swimming pool. Only a few blocks uphill from the main town, restaurants, shopping and public beaches.

The shower was in a huge bathtub that was difficult for us as older people to step over to get into and out of, and there were no grab bars for assistance.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Giuseppe was particularly good.

Facilities were pretty basic as was the breakfast and the maintenance in the pool needs addressing, lose tiles all over the bottom of the pool.

Location was good as we were in town for a wedding and was in a nice central location for the old town and beach. The staff were very helpful when needing taxis or helping friends get taxis when experiencing delays late at night.

The room was adequate but the bed wasn’t comfortable. The air conditioning in the room didn’t work properly - it was either on full power and freezing cold or it was off and the room was too hot. Breakfast was disappointing as when I went at 9:30 there was little choice and no crockery / cups to use for what choice there was.

It’s not worth the money, very expensive for what the room and hotel is. Not a 4 star hotel, we had to pay for extras like towels for the beach and pool and a shuttle service to the hotel’s area of the beach. Their were a lot of tiles on the bottom of the pool were they had become loose and not fixed.

no Hand Sanitizer anywhere except the pool. would have been nice to see some in the restaurant, where everyone is touching utensils, tongs etc

We traveled two adults + 4y/o and Virgilio hotel and Sperlonga was a wonderful experience. We tried the pool at the hotel and it was a great place to have a swim, play, or just relax in the sun. We also went to the Virgilio beach area which is about 800m from the hotel (they have a shuttle but we prefer to walk) and it was magnificent and well worth the price. Great sandy white beach for children to play and swim, the water is quite shallow until you get about 60m out. You'll get a sunbed and a parasol close to the water. Virgilio has a beach restaurant there with good lunch meny, and you can buy drinks, ice-cream etc. Facilities also include fresh water showers and friendly service. June is not too busy and the beach and Sperlonga town didn't feel crowded. From the hotel to the old part of Sperlonga is about 10-15 minute walk, here you'll find some good restaurants and cafes, and some nice shops and a very Italian atmosphere. The old town is small but very charming to walk around in (just don't bring a stroller). We found everyone to be very friendly and helpful, in the town, at the beach and especially at the hotel.

Beach life is very organized and the various hotels in Sperlonga have their own sections where you have to pay and they have sunbeds and parasols almost everywhere. There are public areas at the beach too and they are ok, but we come from a country where beaches for the most part is for everyone and not private enterprises.

The private beach is far Away approx 2 km. The beach area is very good still some working in progress. They charge you for the pool s towel unheard of on a 4 star hotel. The external structure needs some maintenance. The staff very friendly and efficient

The location of the hotel was great and the free shuttle to the hotels private beach area was very good. The room was nicely furnished but tired and not well maintained.

The property was advertised as a four star hotel. Our room was well appointed but the bathroom sink leaked and so did the shower making the bathroom floor very hazardous. Also the hotel charged €35 per day to hire the two sun loungers and an umbrella at the beach which was daylight robbery and should have be included iin the cost we paid to stay at an hotel advertised four star hotel. For €35 per day you did not get beach towels or a complimentary drink of water, beach Wi-Fi or cooled face flannels offered at midday, as we have had at other four star hotels. The beach was clean, there was a life guard and serving staff at the bar area were all very helpful and pleasant.

We liked the location, it was close enough to the beach and seemed safe. The view of the sea and town was awesome! The room was very clean and a nice size! The restaurant breakfast was good variety and the fresh pastries were nice. The fridge had complimentary drinks which we appreciated!

We were very disappointed that the pool was being maintained and we didn’t know ahead of time. We were also without Wifi which was fine but when asking about it, the staff member was passive and didn’t offer any explanation. Another staff explained more thoroughly. When it came to the breakfast, the hot food was not replaced often. It ended at 1030am and at 9am there was little to no eggs or bacon.

Locatin is nice and breakfast was OK.

The bathroom shower wall was flapping back and forth, the room mini fridge was hidden in a closet and for the price of the room we should have at least gotten free parking.
