Location was great, breakfast was amazing. Pauline who greeted us for breakfast was very polite and friendly., The work experience last was also polite and friendly
In the bar on our first visit, were not engaging and got the order dispite being repeated to them several times

The breakfast was very good. Room was a good size. View was of scaffolding on the house behind. Not great.

Great location, friendly staff
Rooms are very run-down - the weather was bad during my stay and I woke up to find rain water leaking into my room and I realised that the sealant around the windows was almost non-existent.
Despite all the signs about water conservation and being eco-friendly, the shower only worked when the taps were also running full blast, so a massive waste of water.
Chair for the desk was completely the wrong height and therefore uncomfortable to use.
I also deliberately booked a 'premium' room expecting a full seaview (as other rooms specified if the view was 'side on'), so was extremely disappointed to have not only a side on view, but that view was largely blocked by what I am assuming is a electrical maintenance box on the balcony, but regardless was also overlooking construction vehicles on the beach. The whole reason for booking this hotel was for a good view from my room so this was very disappointing.

Clean and location
Double bed was too small for us and couldn’t change it to twins. That was my fault for not booking a twin

Excellent location. Right across from the beach. Marina is only a short drive away.
Walking distance to a large variety of shops and restaurants.
Breakfast was poor. Very small selection at buffet. Had to request vegetarian sausage, very poor quality.
Made a reservation for evening meal in the restaurant as i was celebrating my birthday. Ordered a chicken meal with bubble and squeak. Totally inedible, restaurant manager took it off the bill.

Great location, loved the room even though we only had a single room it was spacious with lounge area and 3 large windows with fantastic views . Breakfast was the best I think I’ve had in a buffet restaurant
Was a tad disappointed with the evening meal in the restaurant which was rather dry. Unfortunately although only 3 tables were being served the service was non existent. No one asked if food was ok or offered a further drink so avoided going back again

The room and the view were amazing! Great breakfast as well. Staff were friendly. No parking at hotel but vouchers available to purchase for £2 a day for street parking.
Only little things such as no tissues in the room & no hooks in the bathroom or heated towel rail.

We were offered an upgrade so we accepted the offer but then you said we couldn't have the upgrade when we saw our room it was a single turned into a double

Location was great especially as we where attending a conference at the Pavilion.
Breakfast was great and well up to expectations.

Location was great. Bar/restaurant was a pleasant place to eat.
Room we were first given was noisy with a broken extractor and room was quite small for what we paid and only a shower over the bath. Once we were moved into a bigger room with a proper shower it was great, super balcony too

A clean comfortable room and everything worked! All the staff I met were cheerful, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was superb, everything I wanted and a lot more! Two small problems were fixed within minutes of me telling reception, again by happy staff.
The tiny notice that explained how the shower worked was too low down and small to be read by me even with my glasses on. Suggest it is at least moved to eye level and really needs to be bigger. I have used different showers all over the world but couldn't get this one to work. Of course, when I was shown, it was really easy.
The shower gel bottle fixed to the wall did not work. This time it was not me, it really did not work, but the plunger was replaced with no fuss very quickly and all was fine.

Breakfast and hotel location.
Room (520) was small and a bit tatty, poor views from small windows, no clock or alarm function,no built in USB ports, poor position of kettle and drink making tray, tiny biscuit provided daily.

Location was excellent for our needs.
My husband arrived by car at midnight on Saturday. We were told by reception to display our parking permit by 11am on Sunday morning which we did but didn’t notice at that time that we had been given a penalty notice between 9 and 9.30 am as it was left on the passenger side of the car. We have appealed but are not hopeful.

booked the view hotel as going to daniel odonnell at the congress theatre, it is only a 5min walk to the theatre,hotel was very clean room was great for one night, if we were staying longer would have booked a sea view,staff very helpful breakfast was excellent,if going back to eastbourne would book again at the view hotel

Hotel in excellent position
Economy room is just that. Room on the small side. Mattress very hard and did not give a good night's rest. Room not cleaned on Sunday apart from making bed and changing towels

Breakfast was fantastic staff lovely the atmosphere was accommodating and chilled so made it great and having several places to sit and relax aswell as the artisan restaurant and vista cafe will definitely recommend it and will come back again as design of the hotel gives view of the beachfront wherever

food both at breakfast and for Sunday carvery was fantastic quality. shout out to the lady on restaurant check in. she went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 15. brilliant customer service thank you.
we stayed for 2 nights. towel replacement and toilet paper was missed. But resolved with a call.

Everything. Have stayed there 4 times in different rooms and they have all been very nice. The mattress are very comfortable and a good choice for breakfast.

We love the location and have stayed there before. I was disappointed with the issues listed below, but the staff were
very accommodating, changing our room to a higher grade as the hotel was very busy that weekend with a large function. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast this time, but in the past it has been to a very high standard
The hotel is beginning to look a little tired. We had to change rooms as the Siri conditioning/heating vent was continuously vibrating. This happened occasionally in room we were given instead.
I had specifically asked for a room with a double bed and had this confirmed by email shortly after booking. However, when I arrived the room was set up as a twin.
