Accueil sympathique, personnel interactif, petit déjeuner copieux, servi sur nappe blanche, avec vaisselle assortie, fleur sur la table, chambre confortable, situé près de l’embarcadère, plusieurs restaurants à côté. Bon rapport qualité prix

Nice location in quiet fjord town. Beautiful hotel with classic interior. Larger room than average and wonderful view of the city.
No major complaints, but the bar advertised was not open. Drinks were available at front desk and public space in lobby or outside would work. Also not sure about public access men’s toilet in the basement - definitely designed for mature audiences only.

The hotel is in the city centre. It is expensive but really nice English club mood. Rooms were nice, quiet with very good beds. The bathroom was nice. Breakfast was very good.

Big room, very short walk to the ferry to Bergen, the breakfast was delicious and so much choice, staff was very helpful, polite and professional

The rooms are very comfortable, particularly the armchairs .The location is very central. The breakfast is great - not the biggest variety I've ever seen, but solid Scandinavian fare. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. This wasn't my first visit and it definitely won't be my last.

I enjoyed my stay as always, but, as always, I deplore the absence of proper teacups for breakfast. The ones available are ridiculously tiny.

The staff is always nice, polite, and helpful. The hotel is comfortable and well decorated. I particularly enjoy the style of the lobby and the rooms, much more so than the cold ultra-modern hotels we see too often nowadays.
Again, I deplore the ridiculously small size of teacups for breakfast. I like staying at Lagreid, but these tea-cups do not contribute to my enjoyment (I usually use a coffee mug to drink tea, even though these are also too small).

Nice room - nice stay - the front desk person was really sweet in the morning. Centrally located in the town.
Breakfast was not quite as sumptious as other places but the lady was sweet and made an omelette

Only stay a night. Arrived late and chk out early for cruise. The location was good for the cruise jetty.
Carpark in front of the hotel is not good as people or drinkers talk loudly and laugher at 2am and 4am..Room window are not soundproof.

close to the harbour and some lovely restaurants
The ‘get up and go’ breakfast was ok but we were given orange just in glass bottles with caps on. This made them impossible to drink until we got to our next hotel 5 hours later

As usual, nice and efficient staff. The lobby is comfortable, with good armchairs and sofas, plus good carpets.
1 - As usual, the tea-cups are ridiculously small. I had to use a coffee-cup, but it was not a proper substitute for a decent cup of tea. 2 - my room was cold, and the heating was inefficient; I had to leave the bathroom door open during the night in order to get some warmth; this is not my first stay at Lagreid, but it is the first time I have this problem.

Comfortable, spacious room, very clean.
Breakfast was not very inspiring. As a tea drinker, I resent the fact that no decent tea-cups are provided. Tea needs large cups than coffee.

Very comfy beds, good location, nice interior, receptionist (man with dark or black hair) was very nice polite and easy to talk to.
Main door to the hotel is locked in nigh time and 3 cards we had did not work, so 2 times we had to call reception to unlock the door for us. Elevator is very nice design but a little bit small and difficult to use especially with luggage.
