Dar Bibine was an escape from touring Djerba. Gerard has taken extra care to make sure guests have everything they need and are happy.

nothing to do with the property but in general the doors in Djerba are low so make sure to duck so you don’t hit your head 😉

Dar Bibine is a special oasis for travelers. We only met Gerard, but he also told us many stories about his wife. They have lovingly built the most beautiful little bed and breakfast on Djerba. Each of the five rooms are unique and immaculately decorated. Every morning Gerard oversaw a unique breakfast being prepared for all the guests. He even explained how certain recipes were handed down from his grandmother. And if you're lucky Gerard might share a delicious bottle of Tunisian wine or some spirits after a day of exploring Djerba. You will love every minute at Dar Bibine.

Though not a restaurant, the daily breakfast served was wonderful. That said, we would have liked some fruit each morning, not just juice. If you prefer not to each carbs, the breakfast would not suit you, though one could easily request an egg. Sitting by the fire each evening was a nice treat!

My room was very stylish with an interesting design, but I would have preferred a traditional bed that I didn't need to crawl onto from the foot of the bed.

Everything, would recommend, first class service, wonderful hosts, they made our stay so easy and went beyond when our flights were cancelled due to the coronavirus. Thank you
