Great location near the Acropolis and Acropolis museum. Great restaurants etc very close by but expensive because it’s in the key tourist district.

Staff were pretty much invisible, not much of a ‘vibe’ in terms of this being a hostel. Large, dark corridors. Showers awkward, only one had a lock.

Very central, clean and easy. A very, very good price-quality. Breakfast is more than nice for a hostal. Staff is helpfull and easy to reach. Check-in on your own and super easy. Great place.

Wrong billing

Good stay. Clean and well maintained hostel, with cleaners frequently present. Friendly staff, although you don't see them much at reception as the hostel operates on a self-check in basis. However, they are helpful and easily contactable via message or call 24/7, so this was not a problem at all. Good location, close to main street (safe to return late) and a few minutes from a wide range of restaurants. Close to city centre and main attractions. Continental breakfast offered; coffee/ tea, cereals, bread, butter, jam etc. Extra services available at reception (pre-ordered lunch/ dinner meal combos), washing machine access (at extra charge) etc. Cleam rooms, with hanging space and a sink provided in the room. No lockers in the room that I stayed in. Toilets are clean, modern and have a good hot shower.

Close to the restaurants and sigtama area.

Location and the perfect bathroom

It was not written on booking.com that this room is in the basement! We booked in for 2 persons but we got ONLY 1 blanket! A thin blanket in winter?? Without cover????

24hr reception didn’t exist for when we arrived. when we learned this and tried to cancel, we were denied. We had to use luggage storage elsewhere. Also when returning get our luggage to go to the airport we couldn’t access the property for a while. they really shouldn’t advertise that there is always someone at reception. Bed wasn’t very comfortable. and there was a gross red stain on the blanket. One of the showers was broken. Room was pretty soulless with no decoration.

The location is superb almost 10 minutes to all the attractions. Hosts are nice as well, which allows us to check in early and place our luggage there after check out.

It wasn't quiet at night; construction was next to the hotel. and also, the room was freezing. We asked about an extra blanket, but we thought they had forgotten about it

very few things in light of the whole experience

We got a room next to the bathroom where crackling could be heard around the clock, and there was an unpleasant smell from the toilet and moldy air conditioning. From 4 am the cleaning of the toilets and the smell of poisonous chemicals began, so you could forget about sleeping. Breakfast was also very poor and every day the same, and the only testy part was coffee and croissant (one for person, so if you're on the breakfast after other people who had taken more you can forgot about your portion). We booked this hostel for almost week so after 2nd horrible night there, we asked to get our money back to find another place because that was a nightmare. In the result, however, we were sent back with nothing but a lot of rudeness. After booking.com intervention, we were left with another room, in the basement, much better than the previous one (with a private bathroom and new airconditioner), but with very poor internet connection (so we had to work outside) and a broken door to the room from which the handle eventually fell off, so we couldn't leave the hotel. We are traveling a lot and that was 1st situation like this. We lost almost 2 days and a lot of nerves for trying to get our money back/change the room, repaire the doors... I highly do not recommend.

Everything was just great ! Even I came 4 hours before checkin they didn't say anything and they just gave my room key. Everything was 10 in this hostel

It is advertised as “really quiet at night”, unfortunately this was not the case for me. Walls are very thin so can hear raised voices everywhere, there is a cat that lives at the desk and he cried very loudly I could hear him in the room, some people playing music outside at 3am. Then at 7.45 in the morning a lot of banging around from cleaner I assume. I appreciate they have to clean but they must be aware they are waking everyone up. Also big group of people sit on the front steps at night which could be intimidating for some trying to get inside. Hand soap would be nice at all sinks too. I asked for help with getting the bus to the airport and was shown a map, it is actually incorrect, you must walk up the main road with park on your right, and then turn left, go about 30 metres INTO syntagma square, you will catch the bus on the corner, not the main road, and you will need to buy a ticket at the kiosk before you get onto the bus. Vending machine took my money but gave me nothing, tried twice.

Optimal location, friendly staff. The place was super clean. Breakfast was nice. Very good value for money.

Walls quite thin, and common bathrooms clean up starts at 4.30 am. Depending where your room stands, your sleep might be impacted.
