The appartments are clean, comfortable, well equipped and very cozy. The pool is nice like on the pictures, but not very deep, so it s more for relaxing than swimming, but the sea is really wonderful at Plakias and the surrounding beaches. If you have breakfast you have to go to the hotel, about 10 minutes to walk or you go by car, if you don t want to walk. Breakfast was really tasty. I can recommend this accomodation; if you have a car it s perfect to come around everywhere.

We arrived at night and didn t know how to start electricity, so we had no air condition during the first night.

Location was great, just far enough from the town centre but within walking distance of some great tavernas. Beach is great.

Bathroom light and hall light on the same switch so bathroom visits during the night were intrusive for other people. Shower head had no support bracket.

The rooms and balcony

The room had no numbering, so it was extremely hard to find which room to go to. Very weird experience, I was very tired when i arrived to the hotel and was searching for my room for another 30min, basically trying the key to all doors until I could the one door that the key could open. Very weird and unpleasant experience indeed. Also the apartments have no reception, so i had to drive to another address to get the key to my apartment.

The apartment is spacious and the gardens and pool are nice. In easy walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. Parking spaces available. Good bakery around the corner. Quiet location, cleaned daily. Enough kitchen supplies to cook. Do note the house is situated on a (moderate) hill - lovely views but could be a bit of a strenuous climb up for people in lesser physical condition.

Communications were poor. The key needs to be picked up at a hotel in town a 10 minute walk away. In spite of contacting them twice we never got a reply of where this hotel was or the reception opening hours. Was not hard to figure out via Google maps but if we would not have read other reviews we would not even have known the reception is remote. Also several of the things in the facilities description are actually not there. Most notably the kids play area outside is gone and there is no washing machine. Washing could be done at the hotel, but they charge 5 euros per wash and this took far longer than previously agreed, again without notification. Many other things are also not as described, eg our 4 bed bedroom only had 3 beds plus one in the living room and no sitting area (as was described). Bathroom was a bit tired; shower could not be hung on the wall and needs to be hand held. The double bed was new, the other 2 beds were ok but rather tired. Be aware the pictures you see with the rooms on booking are taken in several different apartments so not representative. I would book again but would have appreciated a more honest representation & better comms

It would have been helpful to know in advance, that the reception is at a hotel in Plakias and not at the appartements

it was very quiet with friendly staff, there were parking spaces, good location if you are with a car.

The bed is the most uncomfortable we ever slept of. The bathtub could not hold the water. The air conditioner can not cool enough. The button on the toilet cistern was broken.

Modern apartment with all kitchen utensils etc including an oven as well as hob. Quiet area, away from traffic but close enough to supermarkets, bus stops, beach, walks......About 15 minutes walk to all of these. No need for a car. We had meals at sister hotel, Anthos Beach hotel just 15 mins walk away where the food was very varied, buffet and suited us.....All part of a value for money half board deal. Staff cheerful, extra helpful and courteous. A lovely place generally to stay and enjoy scenery, walks, beach etc.

We did not realise key and check in was at Anthos Beach hotel on arrival. This should be in booking.com information. Electric switch was also not on when we arrived so we had to find switch on the wall behind door, although we had put key fob in correctly as you go inside.
