Swimming pool was pleasant and the rooms were spacious.

Nice location, beautiful gardens, fantastic staff, lovely pool area, big and comfy rooms, very pretty beer garden. Oasis of calm after a long day of travel on a business trip.

Dinner buffet wasn’t haute cuisine, but for 15 euros it filled me up and wasn’t unpleasant at all. Washed it down with a couple of beers from their own brewery.

Location away from everything. Food not high quality

The pool area was excellent after receiving a time slot with reception. There never was a problem getting some time in the pool. The pool is quite deep so small children need adult supervision. The staff were very good and we received favourable responses to any of our requests. Our room was a good size for 2 adults and toddler and the bathroom was large with amenities included. A fridge and safe was also included for personal use. We had a massage at the spa and were very pleased with the service.

Due to Covid, the restaurant was closed. The ample breakfast was served in the adjoining Beer House. However, our dinner experience was very poor due to the quality of the food. We ordered delivery service from a local restaurant for our second evening.

The pool was very warm and had extras such as jets in the water and noodles for our daughter to play with. It’s surrounded by a lovely winter garden and lounge chairs.

With necessary social distancing, there were delays at breakfast in getting diners seated. They might want to consider a timed breakfast. The hotel itself and its garden are lovely and well-maintained, but it is not central or in a scenic part of town. It was fine for us since we were using it as a starting point for visits to nearby towns and attractions.
