The guys that work at the hotel and their restaurant bar drunken monkey are very down to earth and friendly. Place is affordable and has spacious rooms with an beautiful sea view. I came here twice during my stay in Sri Lanka and would stay here again if I'm in Hikkaduwa.

Need better WiFi

Nice, clean rooms with good working ac + ventilator, and really clean bathroom! The hotel is located right at the beach, amazing!

The wifi is not working upstairs in the rooms and the food/drinks of the restaurant were disappointing.

the staff were amazing and it was clean.

One room had a swarm of ants but that’s not because the room wasn’t clean that’s just because of the surrounding area and nature. the toilet did not flush so well.

Breakfast good. hotel is in beach front & good surrounding. Plenty of eating houses near by the hotel. Parking facility okay.

No telephones in the room & for any requirement we have to go down to the reception. they do not provide daily cleaning in the room unless we request. WIFI poor. The hotel is quite old, but need to improve services like intercom service at least to get a cup of tea in the room(Room Service)

Got the family room, very spacious and the bathroom is huge on the 2nd floor. All staff very helpful with luggage going up and down the stairs. Really friendly, paid with card with small service fee. Right on the beach, got welcome drinks as we arrived. Great location, you can walk everywhere and tuk tuks are always on the streets. They helped us get transport to Unawatna. Beach is lovely, clean and alot of surf/activities nearby. Turtles are 10-15 min walk away.

the toilet was stained which made the appearance of it dirty, but it was clean. Food took over an hour to get, but this seemed to be the trend in Sri lanka, but especially in Hikkaduwa even breakfast took 45 min.
