The location was outstanding. Sitting on the balcony in the sun was very peaceful.

Top location and views! nice quiet area and people. It was easy to get around from here and steps away from the train and restaurants and pathways.

Don’t expect to have a comfortable sleep. The mattress is a thin mattress pad from IKEA - so thin you can feel all the wooden slats of the bed frame underneath you

absolutely stunning view of the sea through the window, & a huge terrace which overlooks the gorgeous city, would highly recommend staying here, it is perfectly positioned, & really captivated the whole experience during sunset.

Really nice host and a lovely location. The room was very clean and the bed was made daily.

The shower and sink in our room did not really work perfectly (lack of correct pressure and water temperature), there was also no Wi-Fi and some odd items in our room i.e. a visible ladder.

The view was incredible and the bedroom was very comfortable.

The door wasn't soundproof. We could hear everyone through the shared entryway

This hotel is beautiful. The view from the terrace is incredible and it feels so private. The rooms are gorgeous, well kept, and have perfect views. I could not recommend this hotel more.

The room was small and very basic. Avoid the room called ZenZen. The pictures indicate that it has piece of opaque glass to provide some privacy, but it’s not there and people walking down the stairs adjacent to the property can look straight into the room. We complained to the owner but they just ignored us. We were initially assigned a room on the floor above which would have been better, but the previous occupants didn’t leave as scheduled and the owner didn’t even know about it. Fortunately we were just meeting up with friends for one night, but there are better places to be found if you book ahead.

Manarola was enchanting. The location was very good. The rooms were good, everything was functional. The view from the top terrace was very nice.

There was no staff on site, but access was fairly easy. It should be noted that access to this facility and its location is a challenge for people with walking disabilities. Well worth the effort though.

There were dirty glasses left upstairs. Fridge upstairs was locked so could not keep milk for coffee cold, no ice.

Amazing ocean views. Not too far up the hill from the train station and no stairs apart from at the train station, just a ramp up a short hill.

When I arrived there was somebody already occupying my room because they had got the date of their booking incorrect. This is because the accommodation just leave the key in the room for when you arrive. I didn't like that there were no staff to deal with this mishap when I arrived and I had to do so myself and explain to the guest that I was booked to stay that night not them. The wifi did not work on my level and I had to sit at the steps on the level above if I wanted to use the internet. Not much information given by the host on what to do and see in the town or best places to eat etc

No space to put your luggage, had to use chairs, so no place to sit besides bed. Very small rooms, as a designer, I would put the bed in front of the window, and built a seating bench the lenght of the room in front of the window with beatutiful view, it will also provide space to place luggage,

It was quaint and the views were amazing. A delicious breakfast was included and it was served on the terrace overlooking the Ligurian sea. Our hostess, Tatyana, was incredible! So fun and informative with great history of the area. We loved it and hated to leave. We are already planning our next trip to Manarola, and will look at staying at the Arpaiu again!

we had 3 rooms, one of the was on the bottom floor with no view, and very small window, felt like a dungeon

Beautiful views, kind lady at breakfast, rooms clean.

No drapes for window and ours was along a footpath with morning tours. Had to cover the window with a blanket and couldn't leave it open and feel safe. Prior questions and communication went unanswered. Which made us feel uncertain about our decision to stay there. So better communication and window drapery/privacy would be nice.

Each morning we opened the window to a beautiful view of the Med and the harbour. Simply outstanding. Breakfast on the deck each day was a real treat. Tatayna was a wonderful host and we highly recommend.

Felt like an air b&b with self check in and rather simple rooms. Add ons available only at embarrassingly high prices: a simple breakfast for 30 Euros per person; Happy Hour drinks are 50 Euros per person.

. Everything advertised was not in room. Maybe in common area on upper level. Common area appears to be slepted in. Room refrigerator had zero in it for entire stay. Was totally surprised shampoo & shower soap was in cheap pump container. No individual packets.Totally misled by mangement. Also, insect infestion room, have pictures to prove.Notified management. , no reply. However, problem was taken care of? Beware , this appears to be an absentee owner. Worse hotel in 9 city visit . Very high noise level. Inside & outside rooms. Definitely. ,NOT soundproofed rooms.. Highest priced hotel & definitely overated !!!
