This was our fourth annual trip to Anna Marie island with our family. We booked an expensive four night stay with this property to celebrate an anniversary and birthday. The home is located at an ideal location, but the accommodations were unacceptably poor. Our daughter slept in the second master bedroom the first night, but reported a bunch of dirt in her sheets. Upon inspection, it was evident that the dirt was coming from a mound, almost like an ant pile that had amassed at the top of the window frame above the bed. I called Vacasa to address it. They sent over a housekeeper and he confirmed it was a termite mound. So upon learning that my daughter had slept in the debris from a termite mound in our expensive vacation rental, I told the housekeeper to have the manager call me immediately, and that I wanted to check out early. The housekeeper recommended that I just pull the bed frame away from the window sill so that the termite mound debris would not land on the bed anymore. The manager never called. Through the remainder of our stay I contacted Vacasa multiple times over the phone, through text, and through the VRBO app. None of the 6 people I spoke to could get the local property manager to contact me. The VRBO help desk was unhelpful. We cut our losses and checked out a day early. I continued to call Vacasa to seek reimbursement for this poor experience. They had a multiple chances to remedy the situation. They eventually reimbursed me 5% of the total cost.

We really enjoyed our stay. Had a few minor issues and was somewhat difficult in reaching vacasa in a timely manner. They had someone out to fix the issues next day. I would’ve preferred sooner but still a decent response.

This was our second year spending our girls' weekend beach trip at this house and we loved it! Right across from the beach, a great pool with sun and shade, and plenty of room inside for 6 of us to hang out and talk while we cooked, ate, and relaxed for 3 days.

The location of this property is great; right across the street from beach access. Outdoor shower to rinse off. Great covered parking. This house just needs some minor updates; fridge wasn't working, a/c couldn't keep up, toilets extremely hard to flush, pool was closed unexpectedly, no extras as indicated in email (garbage bags, toilet paper, laundry detergent). It wouldn't take much to really bring this property from good to GREAT!

Sundance Cottage is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The garage has beach equipment. The closets are large enough to store your belongings and suitcases. It’s a short walk to the most beautiful beach in the world!! This stretch of the beach is not crowded.

This was such a great location and family friendly set up! Our family of 5 had plenty of space and room to play games and make memories. Easy walk to pine street for food and a quick across the street walk to the beach!!

My wife and our friends had a enjoyable stay at the Sundance Cottage for 4 days. Excellent location across the street from the beach. The property was impeccable with many amenities. We enjoyed sunsets from the front porch. The heated pool was great too! Went to Sandbar for a sunset dinner. Only downside was the code we where give for the door did not work. The rental agent gave us the lock box code to get the key for the front door. Also we had to get all the leaves out of the pool from Tropical storm Nicole. We called and left a message with rental agency but nnever received a reply. Overall great experience and would recommend to our friends.

Great location and well appointed.

The location is great! It‘s Max. 2min from the beach. Easy walk over to it and you even have some beach gear in the house! We loved how calm it is in the mornings. All you need is in a short driving distance from the home. If you are looking for a florida beach home…. this is the one!

Perfect for quick 3 night girls getaway. 3 of us stayed and loved the property. It was very clean, spacious and close to a quiet beach. Will stay again.

Great house, very clean inside, lots of kitchen equipment. Wish they said what kind of coffee pot so we could purchase on the way. They have a Keurig and a drip coffee pot so you know. Entry code never worked. Upon arrival had to call to find random lock box and get key. Pool was filthy. I understand rain but it was never cleaned properly. Hand rails on stars are very flimsy. Internet worked on and off. Biggest issue was grill. We planed to grill almost every meal. Upon arrival we found the grill was gross and didn’t function. We called and they said they would escalate to be out that day: the next evening after calling again they said they had many work orders and didn’t know an ETA. Finally took trash out that evening and someone was cleaning grill. She made an absolute mess. Grease and gunk everywhere. She never told us she was leaving to test grill. Went back down and once again grill didn’t function. Vacasa dropped the ball here.

Loved our stay at the cottage. House was well stocked and very clean. Decorated beautifully and very comfortable. Directly across the street from the beach. We enjoyed the beach and how close the house was to the shopping.

Perfect location! The pool was so nice! Right across the road from the beach and plenty of beach gear provided! We had the best stay here!

Sundance Cottage feels warm and bright. This home supplies everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. Access to the beach is perfect…a 2 minute walk. Pool area is great. The pool is large and there is plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture. Didn’t want to leave!

New furniture around pool since pictures and they were great. Easy walk to the beach and about 1/2 miles from Pine. We had a small issue with the keypad entry but a phone call to Vacasa made an easy fix!
Hope to stay again if our budget permits.

We had a nice girls weekend. House is clean, beds are comfy. Easy walk to the beach and pool is great. ( we didn’t get in it the weather was freezing) Dishwasher was not working great. Had to run twice each time. Would stay here again.

Perfectly located home only steps from the beach. Beautiful view of sunset every night. Large pool and patio area, but it is located outside and down the steps, which isn’t clearly specified. Utility room by carport area had beach items, wagon (flat tires, and 1 frozen wheel), chairs, umbrella, and sand toys. Tv needs instructions on how to use. Beds and bedding could be updated

The property was well appointed. Enjoyed our stay. Beach access was slightly hidden but we found the way. Would stay again

Everything was great. The house, the pool, the walk to the beach, all perfect!

This is a lovely cottage for a week long stay a half block from an amazing beach. The house itself is well equipped and has a very comfortable layout. The front porch is lovely as is the pool area. The downsides: needs new grill and also new pool furniture. The street can be noisy with golf carts and cars going by. However, overall really lovely vacation spot.

Wonderfully located with super convenient access to the beach. Clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed sitting for hours on the wrap around porch deck. Would definitely love to stay here again!

The house is beautiful! Beach access right across the street. Can be a little noisy with car and golf cart activity. Overall very satisfied except the pool heater was on!! Not needed in the middle of a hot Florida summer...never cooled off, not very refreshing after a hot day out on the water. No coffee filters for coffee pot, will bring more necessities next time.
