Terrible unsignposted road to the hotel. Concerned we were not on the right road at all

Lovely hotel, very friendly and welcoming. Spacious comfortable rooms with lovely pillows! Beautiful views. Great restaurant with excellent and varied wine list. Staff are so kind and and helpful.

Wedding disco directly below balcony until 8pm meant we couldn't relax after long drive. Eventually changed room. Dinner not available (we had been advised).

Wow. What a place. In the mountains . Spectacular. The hotel was really nice. The owners waited up for my midnight arrival showed me to my room. Room could have had a party in there they was so much room. clean Comfy Cheap Great

Love this hotel! It is just so warm and welcoming. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is fabulous. My wife and I made a mistake as we had been driving all day and arrived hungry so over ordered so couldn't finish our meal which really ought to be a hanging offence as it was criminal to waste any of it! Great wines and very reasonable prices. We needed to leave early so were going to have to miss breakfast - lovely staff actually cooked us an early breakfast to order. So kind and caring. Above and beyond service and much appreciated. On the Spanish/French border and a perfect stopping place for travelling across Europe. If you are reading this and thinking of visiting - do it - you will be so glad you did!

Absolutely not a criticism just a warning/helpful tip to anyone coming for the first time - it is up a small slip road and sat nav sends you into the farm next door. The friendly farmer was obviously used to this as he directed us cheerfully. You might think you are lost - keep going you'll get there.

The hotel is in a beautiful position on the hillside above San Sebastian. The room was large, light , warm and comfortable. The bathroom also had good quality towels and toiletries. Breakfast was included and had excellent choice. Ideal location on France/ Spain border for overnight stop. There is a restaurant which looked lovely but was unfortunately closed on some winter weeknights. However, the hotel did communicate that information to us so we were prepared and there is a snack room service.

The motorway higher up the hillside has a constant drone of traffic noise. Unfortunately this disrupted our sleep. If you are used to city noise....you probably wouldn't hear it but coming from a rural area, it did disturb us. The room was a double and large so a second arm chair for relaxing would have been nice.

The hotel is in a remote and quiet location which i love.

Perfect location for us just over the border for travelling from Uk to Spain. 11 hours from Calais so long drive but worth the extra time to get there. Charming and very welcoming. Lovely evening meal with extremely reasonable fine wine. Clean and comfortable room. We enjoyed a good breakfast and left feeling refreshed and revived

Amazing place and friendly staff

Very good little hotel, in a good location. The rooms were beautifully designed and recently redecorated, I think. Dark wood and white linen. Breakfast is also great.

Bathrooms might be next on their to-do list, but all good. With plenty of hot water and good water pressure.
