On request we were reallocated to a one bedroom superior apartment beside the pool which was excellent and suited my friend’s needs very well. We appreciated the request to change was accommodation was respected and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Initially we were allocated a two bedroom ex apartment with interior satires. However my friend has a mobility - which to be fair I did not highlight at booking. I decided to check with reception about a different apartment.

superior airy apartment, clean location, nice pool, bar. location not too far from centre, €4 euro by Uber to town or 30 minutes walk

sewage smell constantly coming in the bathroom was very off putting. single beds in the double bedroom were pathetic small and like box room.

Excellent value for money, and only a 4 euro uber ride away from the marina. Apartments are very clean and have everything you need for a break. The staff are very helpful and go the extra mile to help. Very nice pool area and bar.

Miss read about the evening entertainment and thought most of the activities in the website was close by.

There was nothing not to like.our party all had a great time.this was my sixth or seventh stay here and reason why we always choose parque mourabel.great value for money.see you all again soon.

Room was excellent and roof terrace was a bonus.

Minor gripe. I find the plastic garden type chair more comfortable to sit in than the excellent metal chairs on the roof terrace.

the air con stopped working

Although Apartment was clean it's very dated and needs refurbing. It had mouldy window and door frames. Some electric sockets were loose And coming away from wall. Roof terrace could be maintained better. On a positive the gardens are well maintained.

Hot water - water tank in our house broke down so we needed a place to shower!😀

Rooms need updating. Got stuck in bathroom for 20 mins as door was faulty - I was staying alone - very scary experience

We stayed in a superior room which was excellent. Very large with kitchen facilities and a large balcony. We were on Half Board basis. Although the Half Board meal was a set menu (starter, main meal and desert) the quality of the food was very good. The bar was well stocked and priced very reasonably. A couple of small shops are also close by if you require any additional groceries. A large supermarket is about 1 mile from the hotel. Although the Hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the beach and to the centre of Vilamoura it is a very pleasant stroll and we enjoyed this. If you are a golfer we walked by various courses close by. The area is also very clean and quiet.

We found that the pool area and Vilamoura in general had a lot of flies. This was really annoying and could be off putting (obviously nothing the Hotel can do about it). Constantly buzzing around you (not too sure if it was down to time of season). Some people sat at the pool with Fly swatters. A couple of times at breakfast (when Julia the manager was off) we found that it could take a while for the trays of hot food to be re-filled. Other than this small complaint everything was excellent.
