We found Pensione Seguso a perfect fit for our one-day stay in Venezia. A professional and helpful staff, inside the building which successfully merges its history with modern trends, provided us a pleasant stay in this Italian icon. A really good breakfast in a nice dining room made a great start for our long journey home.

Sometimes noisy canal motor boats right under our windows, which were full of loudly tourist groups with decibels of music until very late night. However, we did understand those acquiring different kinds of entertainment then us.

Location, quieter area away from St Mark's crowds. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Excellent breakfast!

Breakfast was excellent, buffet, a sideboard with varied and very delicious food .... the perfect start in the day. Pensione Seguso is tastefully and comfortably furnished throughout the house, that means, I enjoyed it very much to be guest in this stylish Old-Venecian ambiance for seven days that offers you several modern comfort like lift, heating, air-conditioning, wlan etc. etc. too. Further I would like to notice positively that there are max. about 100 meters to go by foot to a vaporetto station, where several lines intersect.

..... the weather in the first half of May 2023 .... a lot of rain, wind etc. but that's not the fault of Pensione Seguso ..... !! This hotel is a very friendly and clean and above all, an ideal place to stay during a holiday in the Old town of Venice.

Owners and staff are exceptional, warm and attentive. My room was large and comfortable with a lovely outlook over the small canal as well as the Grand Canal. Also very good is location-close to Zattere waterbusses, restaurants and GelatiNico (my favourite gelati place ! I recommend the Palmarosa-so delicious 😋)

The bed - it is too high, and the bed base made big creaking noise whenever I turned over, loud enough to fully wake me up each time ! Also, in the bathroom, there were so many mosquitoes. Flyspray would have been a good item to have in there. A box of tissues was missing and would have been appreciated! Breakfast was simple - no boiled eggs or any hot food. On my 2nd day, no ham either, only salami, and the usual breakfast cereals and breads/croissants. One of the bedside lamps needed the wiring attended to, which I mentioned to one of the owners, and he said that would be fixed. However, I do think that the Pensione needs a little 'freshening up' - someone to check the details with care and consideration for the comfort of guests.

no soup in toilet, i said “ i dont want anyone to enter my room, no cleaning but they did” plug socket was working but all cables was out.

Above all we loved the views from our bedroom windows and spent hours watching the canals and the boats. We loved the old fashioned style of the hotel and its location. The staff were all helpful and kind.

Not having a bathroom to ourselves but unfortunately that goes with the old fashioned style!

It felt like a old museum. Everything felt like barely working or about to break down. I understand they want to keep the authenticity. Comparing to the price it costs, the place has to be better. Bed, duvet, pillow everything was real poor quality. Just keep in mind, you are paying for the location.

+ friendly staff + strong Wi-Fi + great location, it's out of the main tourist area which I found to be a plus + charming rooms and décor, with ample space + overall extremely happy and this would be my go-to hotel in Venice, great for singles, couples and families

- breakfast was solid, but not great, but with what you're paying it's an appropriate value - bed was fine but the pillows were hard and lumpy, in need of a refresh

We wanted a traditional hotel and were very happy with our room with the exception of the quality of the bed pillows. The furniture and fittings were delightful and we appreciated the inclusion of mosquito deterrent.

Great accommodation for the price. wonderful staff. very helpful and welcoming. good location, but also very quiet.

not a big deal, but if I had to find something to improve it would be that the shower could do with an upgrade.

Breakfast was great, very extensive and staff was kind. View from the room was remarkable, especially for the price. Staff was incredibly sweet and personable, allowed us to leave our luggage for the day and was very helpful.

Walls were a little thin but not concerning at all, was able to sleep well.

Very centrally located with waterboat stop right in front. One of best cappuccino in town.

We had high expectations as this was recommended in an article in the FAZ. The room was tiny and did not have the front view we expected. It was rather worn down. Mattress uncomfortable. Showerhead broken. Breakfast was a joke with dry bread, some extras but for example only meat and no cheese upon request. We were surprised about the good rating on this platform here.

The location was fantastic right beside The Grand canal .Everything you needed right outside the door.The owner was so helpful, sorting waterbus times arranging a room at very short notice .Speaking perfect English and letting us leave oir luggage there before check in times and long after checking out times .He was very knowledgable about the area and his hotel

Great location in more quite part of Venice. Fantastic view from corner room (two canals). Very friendly personel. The place has the style! :) It's furnished with old, heavy furniture, which allows one to go back in time (good to catch Veinice vibe :))

Nothing. Seriously. I've never Incountered worse service.... I'm a hotel manager and I am absolutely discusted. Staff are the worst I've ever been around. The room is horrible and dirty and we could literally have a conversation with the people in the room next door by whispering!!

Everything. Staff. Rooms. Noise. Location. I have never given a bad review in my life... but I feel I need to warn people. Please do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.
