we booked a sea view room, but all bungallows are quite far from the sea, up on a hill and have the view obstructed by trees, it’s actually a forest view. not suitable for babies with a stroller because there are too many stairs in the garden alleys with no ramp for the stroller , on the way to the beach and the restaurant. for the half board ( breakfast and dinner) 200 euro a day , they do not give you even a glass of water... no drinks included. they don’t have a gym... food is average, far from the greek cuisine standards

First of all the food was great! Every breakfast and dinner was 10/10 with big variety of dishes we enjoyed every bite we had at the main restaurant. The location is amazing. Beautiful beach with crystal clear water surrounded by beautiful nature and bird sounds. Also on check in you get a key for your own sunbeds locked for your whole stay which is also a convenient option they provide. The hotel is very close to the village where you have many restaurants and bars if you want to go out. The staff was very kind and positive all the time. Taking care of everything we asked with a smile. 10/10 for the staff too.

First thing that felt a bit weird was that they don't provide your room with drinking bottled water. In every hotel we stayed we always had water as a complimentary not only but in many places coffee and tea too. When we asked about the water the receptionist react like we ask about a bottle of champagne. The Wi-Fi at the room was the worst! 80% of the time we didn't had Wi-Fi which is crazy in 2022 in a hotel at this price range. The food at "The Tavern" (which is not included in your all inclusive option) was not that good at all. Specifically the sea food on grill can't rate it more than 3/10. The french fries with oregano are the best! We never felt completely clean in our room... from day 1 till the end of our stay almost every time they changed our towels with fresh "clean" ones they came with a piece of black hair... On check in there was hair in bed sheets also. The quality of the bed sheets is not that good too I hope they improve it in the future.

The location is very beautiful, friendly staff and very good food in the restaurant and tavern

the housekeeping was not very good. The first three days they came in our room to clean at around 15:00 in the afternoon, right when the baby is sleeping. The cleaning itself was not any good as well. Also an apartment suite lacking doors inside is a bit strange for my taste.

Splendid resort, everything was perfect - nice beach & sand, the bungalow was cosy, the food delicious, excellent service! The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Thassos island is very green, calm and beautiful.

The Beach was very clean , Nesspresso in room so that we could drink the coffee in silent on balcony , Perfect sand , Water is not dip at all , Children can make bath without being in danger , Lifeguard all the time

I didn't have hot water for 3 days , I stayed 10 nights and the breakfast was daily the same without changing a single thing which is not ok , the food was not so great in the dinner , we didn't have the possibiliy to change dinner with launch and we were blocked in the resort , the cleaness in the room was rather poor in one day the room maid came at 16:00 P.M., the water exit from the shower cabin and so on....

Great place!

- Location: situated in an isolated cove, which is taken up exclusively by the resort. The slopes around the resort are basically a pine forest. Bungalows are scattered in that forest, with many rooms per bungalow. Proximity to the beach and seaside view is at a premium. - Beach: simply amazing, with shallow clean water, fine white sand and a gentle slope; fantastic for young children. Beach umbrellas are allocated per room, removing any issues with availability or priority - Nice view of the sea from our deluxe room, clean sheets, free Nespresso, complimentary water bottle in fridge. I personally loved the old fashioned ceiling fan. - Breakfast and dinner (half board) had a decent variety and good quality, incl lots of desserts, fruits etc. Drinks are extra - Nice bar on a small rock with magnificent views and decent drinks; jungle-grade mosquito repellent strongly recommended - it seems that there are daily organised activities for children (stargazing was cancelled in our case) - opportunity for water sports at an extra cost - The staff is extremely hard working and friendly. I saw them sweep away the seaweed from the beach (I guess some guests don't know what it is?) and meticulously blow away billions leaves from the lawn daily. When I asked for a "strong" mojito, I got a *strong* mojito : )

- Layout/age: the resort facilities are clearly showing their age. I think the resort was built in the 60s-70s and the gross layout betrays that. Despite the abundant real estate, the rooms (and bathrooms in particular) are surprisingly small, with many rooms crammed in a single bungalow, perched on a hill slope. The location of that bungalow matters, since some are quite high up the hill and access is not easy, esp out of hours or for guests with disabilities. During day time there seems to be a golf cart that takes you uphill but it's probably only one! Didn't see it run at night - Rooms: not that old but ours suffered from general neglect (eg spider webs- I know, it's a pine forest but still, mold under the sink and in the shower, TV not working etc). Also no bathrobes or slippers. Basic amenities. Please remove the "toilet paper" as an amenity on Booking.com, it's the 21st century. No choice re bed/pillow/hypoallergenic sheets etc - Bathrooms: for God's sake, I've seen small hotels in New York and London with more spacious bathrooms. Also, it's Greece and the beachside, either put a window or a better fan in that place, no wonder it gets all moldy. The cubicle-style layout and sliding door between toilet and shower is weird and just unnecessary. Also, please but some kind of lock on the bathroom door, some people do have small kids... - Insects: lots and varied. Allergic people should be warned, there are lots of bees and wasps (it's a forest). We found a small wasp nest in our room curtain (no insects or humans were harmed). - Peacocks roaming the resort freely are a nice tropical touch. Caged deer, on the other hand, ARE NOT COOL. No one wants to see a herd of such beautiful animals caged in 2021

Children friendly, cosy, clean bungalows in nice environment.

At check in, they give you the key and you get to carry your baggage over steep stairs finding where ever your bungalow is. They give you the key for your sun bead and they expect you to clan it while your stay. Rude elderly staff at the restaurant, jelling at each other and unprofessionally making point that you are “Only guests in Their restaurant”. Chaotic, stressful dining. Part of restaurant is next to deer yard and has horrible smell. Staff at the bar at the beach is slower then slow. It takes them forever to show up and another forever to bring the coffee. Watering down the cocktails.

Beach was great. Location of restaurant was exceptional. Also, food was very good. Room balcony was very nice.

Our room wasn't clean at all. When we came toilet was very-very dirty. There were a lot of mold on the toilet seat! Under and behind the bed is a lot dust and spider webs - they don't clean it at all (never probably). There are cups and glases in the room, but staff doesn't clean them / change them. They give us new glasses (once) when we asked to clean the ones in the room. There is no kitchen and no accesories for dish washing - so you need to buy them in the supermarket. Also, during our stay (10 nights) bed sheets were never changed, except one time for baby coath - when we asked. Superior-double room is smaller / floorplan is different than one advertised on hotels website. Air condition in room wasn't working during our stay. Once we called a reception, and they sent a tehnician who "fixed" it - and it worked for one or two hours. It was not to hot, so we didn't call for it again.

The beach and the location are very good. Rooms and nice Half-board was good Staff is above average A hotel with history, what is interesting. If I return to Thassos I might pick the same hotel
