Best location in the centre of the old town, beautiful old building, lovely staff, generous breakfast. Handmade wooden bed and furniture gave the room a comfortable welcoming character.

Very old building, means low wooden beams and steep uneven stairs. Adds to the character and there is a good lift, but maybe not suited for the less mobile.

Unfussy traditional German hotel right in the car-free historic heart of Marburg - to which you have to walk from the top of the car park. Beds were comfortable, room tastefullly and traditionally furnished, equipped with kettle and mugs and spotlessly clean. The self check in and lift up to our floor worked seamlessly. The view from our windows was stunning. Cute old-world breakfast room with a plentiful, freshly served breakfast. Pleasant staff. As is typical for an older building, there are some steps up and down on the ground floor(s) - not a problem for us, but a consideration for anyone with mobility challenges.

The pillow was awful, having had 70 nights recently in hotels across Germany and surrounds I haven't had a problem so please change these out. Otherwise excellent stay.

Access by car difficult - especially with luggage! Hotel rooms are very dated/old fashioned and not very comfortable.

Everything was in German so difficult to stay here. There is no one there. The entrance pin code from booking didn't work. There is no where or even a plan about parking a car. We paid for breakfast but couldn't find it. There was no checkout time shown but they banged on our door and wanted us out at 10 am. The owner needs to post some signs in English to help non-German speaking people stay here. We would NOT stay here again.

Very charming hootel with a fantastic location

Amazing location, a gorgeous building just outside the main square. Very charming, old-style interior Great staff, lovely simple breakfast. Rooms are very simple, could do with a tiny upgrade in the bathroom, but just like staying at your grandma's house. Simple, great value for money. Little bit noisy if someone walking past your room early and talks loudly - but that's people issue not the hotels. Would come back for sure. Thank you :)

The room was clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. Staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious.

A lovely historic building in the centre of Marburg Old (Upper) Town. The room at the top of the house was well appointed and had great views. Great Italian . Amazing breakfast.

There was no lounge.

The location was great, it's a perfect base to explore Marburg. The hotel itself is lovely, and the staff was extremely welcoming. The room is extremely clean and well maintained, I would go back again.

Loved the location in the old town. Definitely a hike from the Hauptbahnhof to get there but close to the castle, Elizabethskirche and right in the Marktplatz. Rooms were small but doable, really had everything you would need. Definitely an old building so there are some quirks. Restaurant was very good. Breakfast was great as well. Simple but classic German fare.
