The location is great. Close walk to the highlands gondola which takes you to the Ritz Carlton. The Big Easy is right there for you to ski down. It's great and convenient to be in the village. Your car is in the under ground parking so you don't have to worry about the elements. Ski valet holds your stuff and dries it for you.

It's a bit pricey.

1 small, I would guess the folks that stayed before me, Found it funny to move all the TV remotes to wrong rooms. They would turn on the TV but you couldn't change channels! (THIS WAS DELIBERATE)

Needed a last minute condo for a baseball tournament. This property had more than I expected (dishes, washer/dryer) and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to other and stay here in the future.

My only complaint was that the gym facilities did not open until 9am. I needed access to a gym at 7am due to our baseball tournament. No other negatives.

The Northstar Village Lodge in Truckee was fantastic! From booking to departure the process was a breeze. The three bedroom villa was clean, the beds were amazingly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals with Viking appliances! We really enjoyed the Gondola, that was minutes to walk to and the sight was beautiful. The small town village with restaurants and shops right onsite makes it convenient to enjoy and had fun activities. We can’t wait to book again with our host Jason. This is definitely going to be our new yearly family outing!

NO BREAKFAST HAD A TERRIBLE CHECK-IN PROCESS STAFF WAS VERY RUDE

PLANE ARRIVED EARLY SO WE ARRIVED EARLY WAS TOLD I COULD CHECK IN A BIT EARLIER THEN NORMAL WAITED 6 AND HALF HOURS ONLY TO CHECK IN HALF HOUR EARLIER AS I SAW OTHERS GET THERE KEYS. THE STAFF WAS VERY RUDE AND THE ROOM HAD A MUSTY SMELL. THE FANS DID NOT WORK AND SOME OF THE LIGHTS STOPPED WORKING. VERY LIMITED FOOD OPTIONS AS WELL.

Great location, comfortable parking, comfortable bed

It’s a corner unit, and the walls are not soundproof enough to block the noise from the outside. Also, the kitchen sink is too small. Without a dishwasher, it makes a significant problem if you cook/heat/eat in the unit (which is often the case during COVID)
