Die Lage des Appartments mit der Terrasse ist sehr schön gelegen. Das Appartment ist sehr nett eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Wir waren in der " Vorsaison" in Brienno ( Ende April/Anfang Mai), deswegen gab es wohl nur ein Restaurant, welches geöffnet hatte und fußläufig erreichbar war. Trotz der Vorsaison, war es nicht immer einfach einen Parkplatz zu finden. Als Tipp, man kann auch in dem kleinem Tunnel (Richtung Como) parken. Vielleicht lag es an unserer Ankunft in der Vorsaison, denn wir mussten "alles" mitbringen. Salz, Pfeffer, Geschirrspül-Tabs... , das kannten wir aus Spanien anders. Dort waren die Grundsachen: Gewürze, Öl, Essig, Tee, Kaffee.. vorhanden. Dies bitte als Tipp für andere Nutzer verstehen und nicht als Kritik. Toilettenpapier, Spülmittel und 4 Tütchen Shampoo waren jedoch vorhanden. Handtücher und Bettzeug gab es ausreichend. Auf dem Schlafsofa konnte man sehr gut schlafen, es war sehr bequem. Ich habe nur 1 Sache, welche mir negativ aufgefallen ist: Leider sind die großen Messer total stumpf, Wurst, Käse oder Tomaten zu schneiden war eine Herausforderung😉
Ich glaube es ist ein Übersetzungsfehler, deswegen als Hinweis: das Appartment hat einen Herd, jedoch keinen Ofen.

A good sized apartment with lovely views over lake como , a well equipped kitchen area to prepare meals.
Unfortunately this apartment wasn't quite right for us. It's location was a bit too remote, it was hard to find parking and we had to park 20 mins away and walk down narrow roads with our luggage. There's also no air con or fans so it got extremely hot and we struggled to sleep at night. There's a restaurant next door that's open till late (middnight) and very noisy .The church bells next to the apartment start ringinging from 7.30am and then every 30 mins , the apartment wasn't the cleanest, and there were 100s of flies and little spiders all over the apartment. And for this reason we only stayed for one out of the 3 nights we booked.

Beautiful location and accommodation! You’re right on the lake with a stunning view and the house has everything you need.
If you’re looking to be in a town with restaurants etc, Brienno is really small and there’s not a lot to do

It is a spacious apartment with a beautiful view on the lake. It has a very nice location. It is close to a bus station and the town is connected with the main route with a small street, which makes Brienno very nice little town on the edge of Lake Como.
Firstly, the apartment was not clean, with black mold on the bath edge and the bed covers have not been washed before our arrival. For the price we paid for the apartment, one would expect that the apartment will be clean. Secondly, the pier is not operational at the moment, and one would have liked to be informed prior to our visit about that as we planned our trip accordingly. However, I will still recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a spacious apartment with great views.

Lovely outlook from the apartment.
Bedroom window faces the road so quite noisy.
Also very hot in the apartment, better with windows open but creates more noise.
You need your own transport to stay here.

Super nice host, wenn we messed up with the keys he immediately found a solution. He was very responsive and patiently answered all our questions before the trip. Well equipped kitchen. Location directly at the lake - amazing!
The port was closed, so when we wanted to get a boat we had to go to the next village, which was a bit of a hassle. But this is of course not the fault of the apartment! We did not find a place in the village to buy food. But again no big deal as busses take you to the other villages.

The view is just fantastic. Guess this is the main selling point.
The interior is on the simple side. The interior, bathroom in particular, could have been better appointed in order to match the unbeatable location and view, as well as the asking price.

The living area was spacious and great sofas . Kitchen also large and two bathrooms. Elevator was slow but worked . Some old world charm retained .
No good knife 🔪 or chopping boards. Only one tea towel and one old sponge for dishes not hygienic . Only one set of keys meant we couldn't go our separate ways which was very difficult. Very impersonal service & contact with staff . The bedrooms were tiny !!! and my East facing window had No Curtains so blasted by the Sun at 7am had to get out of bed or be sunburnt !!!! Many outside lights shining in all night thru windows with no covering . The 2nd bedroom was single beds not suitable for adult couple . The beds were cheap camping frames and not sprung mattress just a solid lumpy thing Very uncomfortable. We were pushed to be out by 10am or incur extra charges , stressful vibes.

Oh the views are exceptional from the apartment. It was just stunning and I would love to go back again. It was just so tranquil. The apartment was just beautiful and so romantic. It just has this lovely rustic feel to it. I would a 100% recommended it.
The only negative was the public transport, as it is a bit of a distance from central Como.

There was a church next to the apartment and there were bells ringing early in the morning. Bathroom could have been cleaner. There was no parking space near the apartment, you should always drive and walk back for at least 10..15 min.

The quality and standard of the bathrooms. The towels and bed linen were of a high standard. Instructions for EVERYTHING were detailed. The views were stunning.

Not essential utilities to cook (salt, oil, ), not a coffee machine. Low voltage so lights went off.

Amazing view from the balcony, the bed was comfortable, the instructions were clear, the drinking water goes directly from the sink
It was cold all the time (February), the heating was not enough and made SO MUCH NOISE. - the heating for apartment AND the boiler for water. I could not sleep and relax because of the noise.
I did not feel welcome at all. There was nothing welcoming, the atmosphere of apartment - just what is needed, no cozy feeling. even the message for checkout - I found it quite impolite.They insisted tat I leave on time )I was planning to do it anyway - just 15 minutes gap could be nice) - otherwise they would make me pay for waiting of cleaning service (even if checkout is at 10 and check - at 15).
They also asked me to take care of garbage. I am sorry but why would I pay 120 EUR per night in February if there is no service what so ever?
Parking - no parking given even if they write there is free parking space - the village is very small so the parking places get taken fast. So get ready to walk from the parking to your apartment for about 5 minutes in the dark.

The decision not to move into the appartment because of the lack of cleanness!
Booking.com and the host did not at all deliver an expected service and we are still waiting to be fully compensated for the cost of our paid rental! It's a scandal!
