The Bolton is a nice place except the fact that room 434 was dirty

I booked Rose and Ross, when I arrive at airport I received email pointing me to the Bolton. Pillows were dirty, the place didn't match what I saw on internet. Most devastating I slept on dirty linen while I paid 300+ for cleaning service. No bath soap, no tea.

The actual address of the property should be clearly stated. The check in was left to the securities' who couldn't answer some of my questions. Host could not be contacted for emergencies

I would like to give an honest review of my 3 night stay 'Ross and Rose Corporation'. Firstly, the name on booking.com is INCORRECTand MISLEADING. The actual name is THE BOLTON PLACE. This highly inconvinienced me given that I was from a 10 hr long transit flight. On arrival at Rosebank,I had to scramble with my heavy bags searching for the place, nobody had a clue of the place. I am completely new to JHB and this was highly unerving; made me extremely anxious as I frantically looked for the place for almost 2 hours. I tried to call the lady in charge, Rose, but my calls went unanswered and when i did get a hold of her she was unapologetic, unpleasant and unhelpful. The seats are also very uncomfortable. I urge Booking.Com to promptly intervene and handle this as there are numerous related complaints. The host needs to improve on her service and put up the correct name and location. Unfortunately, i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, neither will i return. she was also very Rudd to me when I spoke of extending my checkout time and pay for it.

Place is nice and quite. A tv, fridge,kitchen with cutlery and ports. Theres hot water and a great view.

My phone was stolen in the apartment. Name of the place on booking.com is not the same name of the place. Also different address had to drive around with my friend at night. Visiters parking a far away from the entrance.

Bed matress not good for adult use at all...looked like a hammock.Kettle only worked when it wanted and after day 2 did not work at all.There is a fan which we liked to use,but it did not have a plugg,so why is it there?Plates were chipped and for very cheap at Pep Home one can buy beautifull stuff without payning a fortune but it will look so much more professional if plates matched and was not chipped.

the linen was not ironed the towels were old and dirty. the blank was smelly. the carpet in the lounge was full of dust. the staff is not friendly. Initially I thought I was being scammed. the address on the advert is different to the actual apartment, this was confusing to me.

The host was very very rude, she was lucky that my Booking was "non-refundable", otherwise, I would have cancelled the booking..I swear that the host will only live on the "non-refundable" line of business, otherwise none can afford her rudeness.
