Sometimes a simpler place can be more worthy than some other more upmarket locations. Clássico is an honest hotel that delivers a very good price/value ration. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, a clean and more than able bathroom, good breakfast and, as important as other things, a very friendly reception and a excellent effort from all the staff to make a guest feel like at home. This business deserves to be recommended to everyone.

Bed was comfortable

Same as any hotel. Coffee is meh. Not bad, but not good :D

I liked the convince of access to the motorway, the value for money and specially the 24h reception. I also enjoyed the functioning old telephone (with a wheel dialer) on the 1st floor after ground floor, it was a nice element of decoration and experience.

The shower head's holder at a height above the head was broken and could hold it. Everything else was good.

Breakfast was fine, location was OK for an overnight stop. I was pleased to be offered secure parking for my motorcycle. Staff were very helpful. It was good to have the adjacent restaurant/bar which offered good food and drink.

The area was a little run down.

The room was non-smoking but from the smell it did not seem like that.

Clean hotel and breakfast was nice

Few issues - when we arrived the lady on reception had ZERO english ( i have limited Portuguese language ) , it was very difficult to communicate with her , especially as she couldn't find my booking , we had to get a passing lady in the street to explain to her . Also both of the soap dispensers in my room did not work , I reported this to reception but nothing was done about it so I had to go and purchase some myself. The towels were so hard it was like drying yourself with sandpaper !!!

Run by a very nice couple, the woman even could speak German. Nice hotel in the area of Vila Real, clean and adequate pricing. Totally recommendable

Really helpful staff, very well priced rooms that are clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking as well. They serve a decent buffet breakfast as well! The hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk from Vila Reals centre, so consider using public transport if you don't have a car.
