Van onze 14 daagse reis door Noor Portugal, bleek het ontbijt in dit hotel het enige tegenvallende. het was erg basic en een locale touch ontbrak volledig (zelfs geen pasteis de nata).

Ik had het hotel gekozen om zijn nabijheid van het Mateus domein, en dat was ook zo, maar vlakbij het hotel was een parking waar op ongepaste tijden luide music uit luidsprekers schalde die duidelijk te horen waren op het domein van het hotel (gelukkig minder in de kamer die eerder aan de andere kant van het gebouw lag) en dat was best een tegenvaller, hoewel dit volledig buiten de controle van het hotelmanagement was.

Bel établissement au calme dans un beau cadre. Près du Palace. C'est mieux qu'en ville. Le personnel est charmant et parle français. Un plus.

Quinta do Paço Hotel is an amazing place for a relaxing weekend. The staff is extremely friendly and always interested in helping, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the restaurant seems great (did not have the opportunity to try it). I definitely want to go back!

I wish there was a bit more place to walk inside the property and unfortunately the pool was not open yet.

This hotel is located very near to the Mateus winery. It exceeded our expectations. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful with plenty of space to walk around in the gardens and with excellent views. The room we were in was a pleasant surprise as we had excellent views via a outside covered area beyond the room with a covered balcony with 2 chairs and a table within it. The room was very large and very comfortable. The staff were very courteous and helpful and the parking was just outside the hotel reception. The hotel has a resident dog who nods his/her approval upon arrival !. (he/she has probably seen it all before !). Breakfast was excellent with hot and cold food available and fresh fruits and cereal with coffee & tea in a lovely breakfast room. Waking up to the views is wonderful. The hotel has it's own chapel along with other ornate sitting rooms.

There is nothing to dislike.
