This is a fabulous property whether with a family group or group of friends. Every want or need has been thought of by this host for your comfort! Way above and beyond, plenty of everything and then some. It is like staying with your sister or an old friend.

Beautiful property if you like quiet away from town a few miles this is the place to be has a grill to cook with the interior is amazing like being at home. The host is a very nice lady and keeps it set up nice. We will be back to stay again

We used this rental as a convenient place for family to gather for a weekend. Unit was very clean and exactly as pictured in listing. Location in a quiet residential neighborhood was good for us. Enjoyed the outdoor seating areas and would have used the fire pit if the weather had cooperated more. Lots of nice touches from the owner like a duraflame log for firepit and k-cups/sugar/creamer for coffee.

Great Place. I love the comfortable reclining leather chairs.
So quiet. So close to Hickory Lake and Public Boat launch, Shady Hiking Trail along lake and fishing docks.
If I have to be away from home for work much nicer to stay here near lake than in Business District.

I was really impressed with how well she turned a basement into a two bedroom apartment. We are planning to return some day within a couple of years.

Perfect for us
Deb’s home was the perfect choice to stay while visiting family that live close by. She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is close to many tourists areas also. Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway is about an hour away and we enjoyed going there during our stay. We look forward to staying again while visiting family.

This is a delightful place to stay while in the Hickory area. We stayed for 2 nights with our 2 kids and it was perfect for us. Deborah is a very engaged host and took great care of us. The space feels very new, very clean, and very welcoming. It is well stocked with cooking supplies and all the up-to-date conveniences you could want. Deborah provided us with plenty of tea, coffee, and treats for the kids... so nice! This is a much better alternative than a hotel room... highly recommended!!

The place was better than the pictures and Debbie was super sweet checking on us to see if we got in okay and if we needed anything. There were plenty amenities and everything we needed, event treats. We loved the fire pit and had a great time. Highly recommended.

Nice clean property. Great firepit, great location close to Lakeside Marina. Very spacious apartment for a family of 4. Owner was very easy to communicate with and has thought of all the little extras needed for a perfect weekend stay.

Lovely
My family and I enjoyed our stay! We absolutely loved this place! The second we walked in we felt how clean and homey it felt! Deborah was a pleasure to meet as well and even went above and beyond to bring my little girl toys to play with! We will be staying here again when coming to visit family!

this was the perfect place for our thanksgiving getaway vacation. the place was clean & quaint. the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and easy to get in touch with. we enjoyed our stay. definitely looking forward for our next visit.
