Our stay at the Ridge Cabins was exceptional. Before we got there Sarah communicated efficiently when I had questions. Check in was easy. Henry was a delight to talk to and there if we needed anything. The cabin was the cleanest rental I have ever been in and had all the amenities we needed. Loved having the trails right outside the door. The views are amazing and I love that it is dog friendly. This place feels remote however you can get to town in five minutes. I highly recommend this place.

First and foremost, the view from the cabin/deck was AMAZING! From the personalized welcome sign to the goodie basket, the hospitality was top-notch. Henry was quick to welcome us and always checked in on us with every encounter. We even ran into him on the river walk, and he went out of his way to chat with us. We enjoy traveling with dogs, so all of the accommodations for dogs was much appreciated. Our dogs loved sunbathing on the deck. The trail was nicely marked and made for a great morning walk for our dogs. The added benches and swing were wonderful and allowed us to enjoy the mountains and wildlife even more. We will definitely be back!

As you drive up to this property you know you are in for something special and it doesn’t disappoint. Jaw dropping views, mountain breezes on the deck, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen. It’s just fabulous. It’s way more than 5 stars. A plus as well is communication with Sarah was extraordinary and our interactions with Henry, warm, friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it! We will return.

This stay was above all expectations we had! Sarah was so helpful getting us in last minute. The cabin was spacious and had all you needed to make it your home away from home. Our favorite part was the deck with its wonderful mountain view and fresh mountain air. Henry was on hand for any needs that might arise and so pleasant to visit with. This is definitely a gem in the Pagosa area!

It was a little tricky finding the location initially. Also, I did not realize this property was without a washer/dryer (I definitely could’ve missed in the posting though). These were only minor inconveniences as the view was quite possibly the best view in Pagosa. Being at the top of the hill, it was quiet in the evening and the balcony is the best for morning coffee. Being able to have our dogs with us, made it feel even more like home.

First experience renting a VRBO. The home was exactly what we were expecting from the pictures on line. One of our most relaxing and rejuvenating vacations. The view was stunning and we would stay there again.

Highly recommend! The panoramic views were breathtaking and made it very hard to leave. The cabin was lovely... just the right size for our family of four and very well appointed. Thanks so much for all the thoughtful touches, like the yummy snacks and spot-on restaurant recommendations. We had such a great time!

The cabin was just perfect for a mini vacation for my birthday. Close to town but very private mountain retreat. The views are spectacular. The cabin was equipped with everything you need, even for our two golden retrievers. I would definitely recommend this host and this cabin!

This place is just perfect for a trip to Pagosa Springs. The views are fantastic - you can see for miles and its fun to watch the storms come in. The setup is very efficient - the decor is very modern and all the furniture is comfortable. They have everything you need in the kitchen if you want to stay in and cook, which we did. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the sheets - I want to get some for my house. Plenty of towels. Really appreciate that we could bring our dog - he enjoyed the place too! There was lots of info on hikes in the area, which is what we did every day. There was also a fun 1 mile trail on the property. I will definitely stay here again.

This cabin will not disappoint! The views were amazing, location was very convenient and it couldn’t have possibly been cleaner. We had a wonderful time and couldn’t have asked for anything more. Sarah is wonderful to work with and very responsive if you have questions.

Hiking in the area is fantastic and coming back to relax on the deck was exactly what we needed to unwind. But laundromat on the hill is a short drive even in winter and I’m the way to wal-mart and the bar…. So not bad! Def need 4wd if weather is bad but passable for sure. We really enjoyed the great room and the kids loved the ships ladder to get into the loft upstairs.

Great hosts and amazing property

We had such a great time in Pagosa Springs at this property. The owner and caretakers were very responsive, helpful, and friendly, the house was beautiful and very clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need. In addition, the property was on 50 acres and we had a great time snowshoeing one day. This house was perfect for our family of 5, the kids LOVED the loft. It was only 5 minutes from downtown Pagosa, but we felt like we were all alone. We will definitely be back!!

We loved this spot for our 20-year anniversary getaway. We specifically chose it for the views and the quiet, and we enjoyed a beautiful and peaceful week! We also loved getting out to do some hiking right by the property. Thanks for the wonderful week!

We enjoyed our little getaway. I used the property to work remotely while we were taking care of some business in Pagosa and I had lovely views from my "office" on the hill top. :) It was quite windy the week we were there so we weren't able to enjoy the deck which was a bummer. Would stay here again!

Loved this property - although very quiet and remote it was a close drive into town. View from inside and outside of house was absolutely beautiful. I could have just stayed up on our mountain top all week - there were even hiking paths with benches along the way right outside the door! It was also one of the most well equipped rentals I have stayed in, everything was outstanding!

This property is everything the listing describes and more. It is a perfect combination of privacy and close proximity to civilization. The living space was cozy without being confining. The kitchen was fully equipped; there was nothing we needed that we couldn't find (and we cooked every meal but two over four days). The deck was wonderful and provided the feel of being at the top of the mountain. We have this property on our shortlist of places to visit again. We enjoyed the private trail through the wooded property, which also provided views of the mountains across the way.

Everything about this property was excellent. Clean, beautiful location and home, private, access was easy, and they even had coffee and tea available. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Highly recommend!
