- The breakfast was wonderful, so many options to choose from and the ladies who were working were exceptional. - Happy hour was very good, Matt, the bartender Matt was working a very crowded bar with professionalism and was very quick to wait on people. We missed him our last night. - Loved the attention to detail in the hotel and rooms (full length mirror and outlets near it). - The front desk staff were wonderful and friendly, even remembering my name when I returned from being out. - Comfortable beds and QUIET rooms!

Everything was wonderful, however, at other pet friendly hotels there are stations for dog bags (poop bags) near grassy areas. I’ve even seen small towels available to wipe the dog’s feet when you come back into the hotel. This is at Candlewood Suites and is something that could easily be added. We had both bags and a towel - which kept your comforters clean, luckily it didn’t rain when we were there.

Breakfast was excellent and ladies helping with serving it were really friendly and helpful. I loved that there were lots of fluffy towels in our bathroom. Workout room was definitely better than most I've used in a hotel and it was clean with lots of equipment and roomy. Room and bathroom were beautiful. Weather was bad so we never got to use the pool. I can't say much about the outside but it would probably have been very enjoyable. We had a balcony and the view was very good.

We really didn't like the shower at all in our room. It had a rain shower head with low pressure. It was like trying to get a shower and wash your hair outside when it was drizzling out. I also didn't like the toiletries because there were two dispensers in the shower of something but they were not labeled. I didnt' know what they were. Also there wasn't a place for ladies to put their foot on to shave legs, just a straight wall. I have had way better shower experiences in hotels that were half the cost. Coffee wasn't available 24/7. It was only served in the morning. I didn't like that they added an activity fee onto the price. The staff said that was for the gym, pool and breakfast but other hotels don't add extra fees for this.

Great complimentary breakfast every morning. Location is close to beaches right over the bridge. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable.

Not their fault, but the weather was cool, cloudy, and rainy. Therefore, we were unable to use the pool or go to the beach.

The hotel was very clean, great location and had very nice views of the marina. Breakfast was very good and included in the price.

The Price is Excellent for everything the hotel has to offer! Free Breakfast, beautiful views of the Inter Coastal from the balcony rooms . They have a bar for cocktails & mingling. The pool is huge & hammocks were a plus for us! Behind the pool is a restaurant called Floradays for a great dining experience. The Staff is Very Friendly & helpful!

I really loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the location was phenomenal.

The beds were a little too firm for my liking and there was enough water pressure in the shower.

We went to Compass hotel for a quick get away from the city. It was great. We were greeted by two very friendly staff at the front desk that promptly checked us in. The breakfast is very good, with something for everyone. The pool area was pristine, and all of the other areas were great. The location itself is fabulous, with beaches, bars and dining all in very close proximity. I would definitely go back.

I would've loved a room with a view to the dock and ocean.

The bar and the pool close too early

In booking.com it said there was no breakfast available and when I arrived it was complimentary which was awesome. The hotel looks like new, the rooms are very nice and cleaned, the pool is big with comfortable chairs and towels available for no adding cost.

In booking.com it said there was a shuttle to the beach and umbrellas and chairs available in the beach, but unfortunately not.

the view was nice from our room. our room was spacious. bathroom was good. breakfast is your typical american style breakfast... boring and predictable.

housekeeping is the worst i have ever encountered. no hotel standard housekeeping for sure. room looked worse then when i left it. bizarre.

I think something can be done for the awful smell from the bay, that comes up sometimes right in front of the pool area.
