Mrs. Efthalia was very friendly, kind and polite. She cleans the rooms once every 2 days and tries to make everything as good as possible for her guests. She does not speak too much English but you can definitely understand each other. The property is 2 minutes away from the sea and some of the apartments have a small sea view. Also, there is a big market 2 minutes away and the main city walking street is 2-3 minutes away.

Very friendly host

We are a couple from the U.K. speak also Greek so we had the chance to feel 100% the Greek traditional experience! The location is perfect - very close to the beach, at the edge of the town but still quiet location! The whole building and the rooms are really beautiful! Mrs Efthalia (although she speaks only Greek) gives you the friendly attention which makes you feel that you are indeed in Greece! We could not ask for more! Regards from Salvatore + Tatiana!! 10/10

Small and very uncomfortable bed. noisy air con was a problem at night.

The property is well located for Nydri, both the town and the beach are within easy walking distance. The room was clean and neat. We were given a jar of very nice homemade honey on arrival.

The beds were unbelievably hard and uncomfortable, making it very difficult to sleep. There were also no extra blankets, sheets or pillows. The room was smaller than it appeared on the site and felt cramped for two people. The bathroom is tiny. The balcony is small and overlooked by many other balconies, and the stairs for another apartment are immediately adjacent. The air conditioning blew directly on the bed, which was uncomfortable if trying to keep the room cool enough to sleep. The air conditioning is also rigged to door sensors, meaning it turns off if the balcony door OR BATHROOM DOOR are open for more than five seconds. This meant that the bathroom was unbearably hot at all times. The shower is very small with a shower curtain that is always touching either the person showering or the toilet, The owner asks for a deposit by wire transfer on booking, and then requires the full balance in cash on arrival. Both of these arrangements seemed suspect. Due to a family emergency we had to leave the property a week early. There was no reduction in payment offered, we were pressured into paying the full balance immediately and there was suddenly a card machine available to take payment. The owner was quite rude at this point, and family members knocked on our door demanding payment. An unpleasant experience. We were aware the terms and conditions required full payment on cancellation, but it was disappointing not to have even a token reduction for cleaning/utilities not used. The parking is a few minutes walk away. It is locked by a chain and easy enough if one or two cars are using, but when it gets busy, the angles get challenging for anything but a very small car. The owner doesn't speak much English when interacting with you, but it is clear she understands a lot. This makes communicating and asking for anything very difficult. The owner likes to clean early in the morning and knocked on the door to ask us to leave, getting annoyed when we refused.
