Bed was pretty comfortable and had privacy with the curtains. Location was amazing, walking distance to the town square and all the bars and restaurants. Showers and toilets were private, it makes it way more comfortable, it was relatively clean for a bathroom that is shared with plenty of other people.

One thing that kept happening was that my key card would stop working out of nowhere so I had to go to the front desk a couple of times to fix that, and one of the times it was after their work hours so I had to wait for someone to let me in. Another thing I recommend is take your own towel, their towels are available for everyone to grab on their own and it happened that they didn’t had any towels when I went to shower, luckily I had read some reviews and took a towel with me. I personally thought the price was a little bit much for a hostel, BUT considering that it’s in a very expensive town and the location were worth it. No kitchen, it’s not a big problem but it would be nice if I didn’t had to spend money eating in restaurants everyday.

Love the free coffee did not have breakfast as we were up super early

Lights stayed on at night which was difficult and the locker system was very finicky

The location was great. I would have enjoyed even limited kitchen facilities. Generally? A pleasant facility.

With the lack of exhaust fans in the showers the atmosphere got pretty humid as each day progressed. Even though I let them know I was trying to rest, one staff member remained loud while making up bunks.

Small towels, dusty, bunch of other guests hair were all over our bunk bad, no hot water or microwave, toilets/showers are not that clean (with the amount of tourists highly suggest to clean at least 2-3 times during the day)

People staying at the Cache House were very respectable of eachother- made the experience work!!

Probably the nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. it was very clean, the beds and pillows were big and comfy. I loved the single room bathrooms and showers. lots of privacy and 2 lockers per booking. the location was perfect and the decor was lovely. the vibe was great. Everyone staying there was a super respectful and quiet. it was also a fantastic deal for the area! Highly recommend

the top bunk got pretty hot and stuffy at night but overall was still wonderful

Toilets flushing right over my head, and the light in the bunk room was ALWAYS on. Makes it hard to sleep. No microwave or refrigerator available; dining out was mandatory.

I and other travelers have missed a kitchen or at least a fridge. (there is room enough for that stuff)

the whole area is superb ! it’s clean, quiet, modern. Staff at the counter (a guy and a girl) was good enough to help with my luggages and maintenance issue.

the property has been charging me continuously by charging on my debit card, and make refund of the charge after two to three days and then charge again, this happened since the day I book the hotel. nevertheless, they still charge me another extra fees which I was not informed. the total I should be paying is MYR700++, but end up charged by then at an amount of MYR900++ which is not worth it. I will ask the property to make the refund back.

I loved the expirence of staying upbeat modern hostel. Very clean and quiet. Most people just came in and showered and then went straight to bed.

I wished the bath rooms were a little bigger with a few more hooks to hang stuff up on like your clothes. I would be helpful when changing your clothes & drying off. Also, it would be nice to have two bath towels to start off with. They will give you more, but you have to go upstairs & ask.

Staff could be more helpful! Didnt realise in Jackson have to book taxi to airport way in advance. My flight was early morning. Had difficulty to book taxi the night before. Asked the staff at front desk he said if no taxi company is picking up phone then there's nothing that could be done. So it would be helpful if the staffs at the front desk could remind the guests when checking in ..if they need taxi to be booked when checking out. As taxis are limited and no uber services. We travel from different countries and are unaware that systems are different.
