This apt was perfect for our needs, so pretty, clean, we loved it ! Would stay again for sure!

Perfect for 2 people! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen fine for a quick breakfast before a day's activity. Would definitely stay here again.

Although the property itself was very well appointed, there were guests staying upstairs with small children, so the constant racket over my head, dragging furniture etc. was unpleasant. I wish I had known.,. I would not have stayed here..

Beautifully equipped 1-bedroom apartment. Clean, high-end fixtures in quiet neighborhood w/ample parking. Great water pressure in the shower, comfortable bed. Sleeper couch was adequate. Ground coffee was provided; very much appreciated. The garden is a special treat; mature fruit trees, hydrangea plants, trumpet vines, and honeysuckle…just lovely.

It was beautiful.. loved the backyard.. the owner Navin was very helpful and generous with the stay there . Hope I get to revisit one day.

I would personally like to tell everyone that this is a very clean easy to get to rental(I need 10 minutes from the Oakland international airport) . It is so easy to get to some of those wonderful restaurants as well as a Shopping Center post office, and a lot of beautiful little coffee shops. The cottage is on the bottom level that overlooks orange trees, Bougainvillea‘s, jasmine and a variety of other plants that are so inviting along with two chairs. Everything you need is right there on a quick trip to the Shopping Center will help complete your trip , we are also very close to the ferry. The relaxing and inexpensive ferry can take you right into San Francisco or Sausalito depending on where you would like to venture. Thank you to the owner for accommodating me with my dates… When I visit Alameda again, I plan on staying here for a second visit!

Wonderful property in a great town of Alameda. First time in the Bay Area and this was a great spot to find ourselves. Easy access to San Francisco and plenty to walk around to see locally on the island. Navin was great and provided quick responses to a few questions we had. Overall a lovely stay. Thanks Navin!

Beautiful gardens surround the private sides and back yard. The VRBO is well kept and comfortable. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely week in this beautiful, exceptionally clean home!

The downstairs apt we rented was clean and very nice space. An excellent location. However, noise was a problem. First night I had to go up and ask upstairs renters to stop playing guitar after 11pm. They said they did not realize people rented downstairs. Also it seemed like there were no rugs on the floors above us as we heard every footstep as well as frequent yapping of the upstairs renters’ dog. This setup should be made clear to all prospective renters. Also, there were no instructions for use of apartment such as where to put trash and when it’s picked up. Host was out of town and it was hard to communicate with cleaning staff as they did not speak English.

This property was so clean and fresh, so inviting. Outside garden area was beautiful with a very fragrant trumpet Lilly tree to great us when we arrived back after a day out and about. Super clean, so well appointed., laundry room was even beautiful! Convenient location,extremely quiet for such an urban area. Will come back when in the area to visit our daughter.

This rental was absolutely beautiful, impeccably clean, and perfectly located. A quiet, safe neighborhood, quick drive to down town SF. The apartment had everything you could need including coffee and maker, toaster, toaster oven, cook tops, small fridge, towels, soaps. The garden was peaceful and beautiful. Navin was so nice, quick to communicate and very accommodating. I really can't say enough good things about Navin and this beautiful rental.

Our host, Navin, could not have been better. He was gracious and very helpful. Our area was immaculate. The gardens are out of this world! We would stay there again if visiting.

We enjoyed our stay in this adorable Victorian Cottage. It is so well done in the architecture and has beautiful furnishings. After a big day out exploring San Francisco and it’s surroundings, we looked forward to coming back to our rental! We will definitely stay here again!

Navin was a great host! Ideal location for anyone wanting to visit San Francisco! It was cozy and clean and had a great outdoor space! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit!!!

Property is beautiful! White rocking chairs in backyard call one to sit and listen for the hummingbirds to feed and the birds to sing. The location is spotless and welcoming. I would only recommend having usb outlets or wireless charging available; very similar to other higher end stays. The price is awesome! Walk to beach is easy. Architecture is beautiful in the neighborhood. Host is wonderful

Awesome host, charming place. The bathroom should have been cleaned weekly. We were there 3 weeks.

So many thoughtful details you’d never think of….like motion sensor nightlights, a warm throw for the sofa, a printer….I could go on & on. Everything looks brand new and it is very very clean. Host most hospitable…let us use bicycles, helmets, locks. Greeted us and showed us how to use hot water in shower. We would definitely stay here again!

everything was as described cute, clean, modern and private. We only stayed overnight so didn't get to utilize much. Owner asked us to keep the place in the same order we found it, as he had guests checking in the next day. We complied.

This was the perfect retreat space to get some writing done in a quiet, clean and cozy environment where I could take yoga breaks and short walks. It was rainy but there was a sweet little garden space with lots of hummingbirds. Navin made sure that I had what was needed to be comfortable and self-sufficient. It's obvious that a lot of care goes into the maintenance and details. It would also be perfect for someone visiting relatives or touring in the area who wants something simple but pleasant and attractive.

A most beautifully redone space…which was perfect for us while visiting family in Alameda

One of the best rentals I have visited. Very tastefully decorated, clean, with all the essentials. Very comfortable bed. Lovely garden, perfect to unwind with some tea or a glass of wine at the end of the day. Great location. A short 20-minute ride from the Oakland airport. No need for a car once you get there: you can just ride one of Navin’s bike anywhere around the island. Walking distance to many restaurants on Webster Street. A 20-minute walk or 10-minute bike ride to the beach where you can windsurf, kitesurf, paddle or take the bike path for a ride around the island. Navin’s was always immediately available if I had any question. I had a great vacation and will most certainly come back!

Our rental and stay in Alameda was perfect. Check in and out was simple. Navin was an amazing host, he helped when needed but never bothered us. The house was clean and very close to many shops and restaurants. It was a half hour drive to San Fran and a perfect place to stay for quiet and peace. We will be back. The Ole Waffle Shop was yummy.

This place was perfect for my family and I. The garden and terrace were astonishing pieces of heaven. The smell of jasmin at the evening time was exquisite and an invitation for a glass of wine to wind up for the day. The mornings were colorful and the chirping birds made it a special place for some coffee, hot tea or just to have some quiet time. The flat was spotless clean and luxurious. We had everything we needed for our morning breakfast before leaving for our daily adventures! Navin was an outstanding host. He went above and beyond for us. Not only did he share his beautiful place, he also shared time with us. He was respectful, kind, and fun. We absolutely had a great time! I am definitively renting his place again.

The unit is charming with many nice decorative touches. Garden terrace is serene and filled with flowers and birds--a lovely spot to relax!

This was one of the best vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Ample space, beautifully updated, and the perfect location for visiting the area. Centrally located between so many different places to see and explore. Owner was always quick to respond to anything, and was extremely friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

if you plan to stay here during the winter, you better bring your extra coat or sleeping bag. so cold inside.
