We have stayed at multiple Mission Beach properties. This one was the first one that the listing and reality was the same. Clean property, furnishings were great for our family of 6 (4 children). It was nice having a bed for everyone not just a pullout. Walking in to the welcoming flowers and card was a super sincere and nice touch. Plenty of beach toys, boards, chairs. Well stocked condo from linens, towels to utensils and kitchen supplies. Having a Keurig was very nice. Short easy walk to the beach. I easily came back from beach to make kids lunch and take back out. We walked to Belmont nightly and enjoyed the Christmas decorations.

Great apartment with everything needs for a fun Mission Beach trip. Owner was extremely understanding and helpful with change of plans, which we really appreciated, and were happy to have spent fall break with our kids at the beach.

We had the best time at Luna azul. Annette was an amazing host (even letting us check in several hours early due to a change in our travel plans!). The house was very clean and stocked with so many things to make the stay more enjoyable (beach toys, beach chairs, sunscreen, full pantry). My five year old daughter was thrilled to discover all the toys stocked in the house as well. The walk to the beach was a few minutes and the location could not have been better. We have family in pacific beach and plan on staying at Luna Azul every time we visit! Wonderful property and host!

Once in a Blue Moon you will find a vacation property so well thought out. Luna Azul is that place and was the perfect spot for a short, family get-together. It is clean and comfortable - with a large kitchen and living room area. The beds are comfy and the rooms have ceiling fans for the rare, warm San Diego day. There is a Keurig machine with Kcups provided (cream and sugar, too) to enjoy your morning on the large, private patio. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, wine glasses, etc. Beach towels and chairs are also provided to use on the super close beach. Fresh flowers and a note were a beautiful touch. The owner is incredibly responsive and kind. We are glad we stayed at Luna Azul and hope to return soon.

My family and I stayed at Luna Azul for 3 nights and it was even better than the pictures! Its a great location, with a fantastic patio and wonderful accommodations. The owner was incredibly quick to respond and the house had everything we needed and more!

A very comfortable ground floor unit close to the beach. The host is helpful and the location is amazing. You can go wrong with this booking.

We had the best time at Annette’s! It is a minutes walk to the beach with all the necessary beach equipment one might need for a family vacation. The bay is a bit further of walk (maybe 10 min) with little ones in tow but still so convenient. The house was clean, cozy & gave all the beach vibes one might want when visiting California. Lots of kitchen amenities for cooking in & bonus parking spot so you don’t have to search for street parking! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

This house was the perfect size and location for my family of 4. We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach, boardwalk, and restaurants. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We loved that we never had to get back in the car while staying here.

I rented this property for our first family vacation with my little one (14 months old). We loves the proximity to the beach and the layout of the property. It was absolutely perfect to take my little one to the beach every day without having to drive. It is in the prime location. The kitchen is fully supplied with everything you need to cook and we loved that there were beach chairs, beach towels, and even some sand toys. My only complaint is how dirty the floors were and the lack of accountability to clean them. My child is only 14 months old so she is on the floor constantly walking or crawling. The floors appeared very clean but within five minutes of being in the rental her feet and mine were black. I asked about a mop or a cleaning service and the owner wanted to argue about the fact that the floors weee mopped instead of doing something about it such as sending someone to clean the next day or reducing the cleaning fee. Other than this hiccup, absolutely loved this place. Great location for a beach getaway.

Wonderful place. Location is easy access to beach, bay, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Patio was great - good sized. Well stocked with everything you need for beach. Kitchen also well stocked. Car port is quite narrow! We had a full size rental car and fit was tight. It’s doable-just have to take it slow.

Luna Azul was a fantastic property close to the beach. We enjoyed being steps from the Mission Beach walkway. The patio was a great outdoor space to relax. The property was clean and well appointed. We would stay here again.

The location was exactly as advertised. Very close to the beach and lots of amenities near by. Having bottled water and coffee available when we arrived were very appreciated after a day of travel. The fresh flowers were a nice detail.

We reserved the property for us and two friends. We had a last minute emergency and had to cancel our flight eight hours before take off. Our friends were already in the area. I contacted the owner, explained our situation and asked if she would be willing to transfer the reservation to our friends so that they would not have to scramble to find another place to stay. She had no issue and understood that sometimes life happens. She was wonderful to work with. While my husband and I were unable to make the trip or see the property, I would definitely book this again. Simply because she reminded me that there are still good people out there who handle their business the right way. Very much appreciated. We will highly recommend this place to anyone coming to the area. Thank you, J&J

Fabulous beach house steps from both the beach and bay- close to excellent restaurants and coffee shops. We had a wonderful week enjoying San Diego- this home was perfect in every way fro 4 adults and hope to be back next year! Most highly recommend!

Communication is key, and Annette was on top of it, every message, before and after check-in, was answered in just minutes...professional and friendly. The accommodations were as described, not spacious but 2 BR's & 2 B's were perfect for our 2 couple group; the 2nd bed in the 2nd BR could accommodate another couple or kids. Big clean fridge and adequately supplies kitchen, 3 can sit at the nice granite bar, plenty of room for others at the coffee table and comfy couch in the adjoining living space (or outside in the patio if weather permits). It was unusually cool (50's) and torrentially rainy during a good part of our weekend stay, so we didn't get to use the beach chairs, towels and boogie boards. Great location, just a short drive to Trader Joe's and quick walk to the beach....too bad Annette couldn't control the weather, ha!

We loved our stay at Luna Azul. The house was clean and cozy and the walk to the ocean and Mission beach were exactly what we had hoped for.

The house was the perfect location to all the attractions in Mission bay and to the beach. It is truly just a short walk to the beach. The house also came with beach toys and also some indoor toys/games when we just needed some downtime. Highly recommend this really cute place!

Nice stay, would stay again

The condo was clean and comfortable, and the host was easy to communicate with. We had a great stay!

Our family had an amazing time staying here. The location was perfect for us, just off the beach which was great to not to have everyone walking by along the board walk looking in and really close for the kids to walk to the beach. Also the board walk was great for morning/ evening walks and went for miles! There was everything we needed for a family including a pack n play for our infant. Toys and games for the kids to play with. Beach toys and a wagon to transport everything to the beach in and the washer and dryer worked great and were really good to have. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you needed including a dishwasher. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for us all. Check in and out was a breeze. We loved exploring the local area and I would thoroughly recommend staying here. Annette was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any messages.

This home is in a great location, beds are perfect and lots of space for 3 or 4 people. Kitchen is well stocked and tons of beach chairs, toys, wagon for hauling. The porch is good sized for eating outside. We would come back!

Just steps from the beach and a short walk to Belmont Park. This place had everything we needed and was very easy to access. Loved the layout as well as the amenities. Thank you Annette!

Very clean property in a perfect location. Well stocked, and nice to have toys/books for the kids, as well as all the beach chairs and toys to use. We walked everywhere and especially enjoyed Belmont Park, Baked Bear in PB, and amazing fish tacos at Ceviches and Beer. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We loved our long weekend at this property! You just can’t beat a block from a beautiful beach with all the things you need for a day listening to the waves. The house was well equipped, communication with owner was so easy. We found it comfortable and just the right size for our group. But the location was the fifth star! Easy to walk to food, coffee, shopping and nightlife!

We loved our stay, it was clean, comfortable and in the perfect location - close to everything but not noisy or crowded. We loved it.
