Location was great and view from second floor lounge was lovely. Quiet location for those seeking a rest or peace. Perfect for accessing all the area has to offer.host was very welcoming, warm and helpful.

Very tight drive small cars only. Parked on roadside. Furniture in parts were a little tired but homely though.

Good location and lots of space in the house, especially with three young children.

The house could have been cleaner, for example cobwebs on furniture and rubber bath mats were grubby. Had to take our own towels.

The cottage and surroundings were beautiful.

Room heating was timed controlled you can’t change it . Quite uncomfortable because heating was on when we are not in the building.

Sizeable property in good location. Great living room on upstairs elevation with views of the river. Good sized and well equipped kitchen - ideal for socialising as a group.

Only the narrow driveway, super hard for access - but you can easily park without being a nuisance to neighbours in front of the church adjacent if you don't want to navigate that. The owner also offered us parking room at her own property nearby.

The main reason for us choosing this property was the location and the proximity to family, as it was used to celebrate a 98th birthday party, and was ideal for our needs. The actual location of Riverbank Cottage is just lovely overlooking the river and is set well back from the road, although the approach to the cottage from the road down the driveway is a little challenging at first! We found the cottage to be comfortable, clean, tidy and well appointed and had everything needed for our stay.
