We were so happy with this rental. It was nicely appointed with everything we needed. We were only here for Memorial Day weekend but would have loved to stay longer.

This was our third year in a row at this amazing home. Our whole family enjoys it every time. The proximity to beach, town and all the charming homes around make it such a nice location. The home is extremely clean and well cared for. We will be back again!

Great house and location to celebrate our twin sisters turning 60! Short walk to the beach and into town. House is nicely decorated with lots of nice touches. Loved it!

We loved the house and it’s location but was a little surprised that all bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and we had to go buy some. Bag of garbage was left in kitchen when we got there. No one could figure out how to use front door lock. No lights on stairs. Also surprised that bathrooms didn’t have shampoos and body wash , every other house we have stayed in did. Kids loved all the beach toys and chairs. Nice fire pit.

We had a wonderful stay in Kevin’s property in South Haven. Great house in a great location. Grandchildren appreciated all the beach toys, soccer ball, etc. We had everything we needed and we were so close to the beach, the playground, and downtown.

Great house with so many extras! Only complaint was we would have liked more TP and trash bags provided. Other than that this really is an ideal house for a South Haven vacation.

Home was very clean and property was very well maintained. Our family had a wonderful time, the home was very comfortable, especially the beds, after long days of walking into town and down to the beach we really appreciated a good nights sleep! Kevin and Kim were wonderful to work with, the little extras like a welcoming note and bottle of wine made our stay feel like we were home. Thank you for sharing your home, we will see you next year. We were blown away by our stay at Kevin and Kim’s cute house in South Haven. We’ve historically stayed across the street so we knew the location well but the sale of our former rental had us taking a chance at a new spot. And wow, we are so glad we did! We have a 1 year old and 3 year old who had the best week ever, per the 3 year old. A well-organized and clean shed full of every summer amenity you could imagine (although we thought we brought the kitchen sink- someone else’s treasures are just always better ;)). We took their advice and did something new this year- a visit to the Art Barn in Douglas. Countless walks to the beach, the playground and downtown South Haven. Kids- and us- slept peacefully every night we were there. There is a gorgeous little bunk house available for use, too…although we just took a peek because we didn’t need it. Just adorable and such a comfortable space. They’ve really thought of everything here. The layout of the house and the cleanliness were gold but my list of favorite things about our stay actually a mile long. Thanks for having us!

What a great house: very clean, comfortably furnished, and well equipped. We had three generations in the house and the layout was perfect. Having a bedroom and full bathroom on the first floor was ideal. Bedrooms upstairs were very comfortable and upstairs bathroom had a walk-in shower and a bathtub. Air conditioning actually worked upstairs. The kitchen was fully stocked and knives were sharp (something that isn't always the case in rental homes.) The shed is well equipped with a great wagon, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, and lawn toys. Grilling and eating on the deck and it felt private. The house has two outdoor hoses to clean off sand when we got back from the beach. A bottle of rose and a lovely note from the owners was waiting for us when we arrived. I've already reserved our week for next year!

We usually head south for our summer vacations but decided to do something different this year. We are so glad we did! The house was perfectly located, an easy walk to the beach or downtown. It was very clean and well-maintained. We loved the layout for two families. My older parents were able to enjoy the master bedroom and bathroom downstairs while my husband and I had a bedroom upstairs next to the kids bedroom. It allowed each family to have just enough privacy. We are accustomed to rushing out to buy soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. when we arrive at a vacation home but this home was well stocked with the essentials to get us started. We loved relaxing on the covered porch and sitting around the fire pit in the backyard. The shed had everything we needed for a day at the beach including nice beach chairs, an umbrella and beach toys for the kids. There were even backyard games and bikes in the shed! The owners thought of everything when stocking this home. We were so impressed with this home and with this town!

The house was great. Wonderful location. There was enough room for eight people easily. Decorated so nicely enjoyed being in such a nice house. They had just about anything a renter would need. South Haven is a great little town! Would definitely stay at this property again. Recommend highly. Thank you.

House has a great front porch! My husband & I spent several relaxing nights sitting out on it with a glass of wine and waving to neighbors as they passed. We also enjoy sitting around the fire pit, used the grill and our 4 yr old loved looking through the games that were in the house. The shed is stocked with a wagon to take beach stuff in & your child, some outdoor toys, bikes and some wood to get you started with for the fire pit. The owner Kevin was always very nice and check-in & out was very simple and easy. The house is decorated very cute too. The cottage is very walkable to the main town for food & to the beach. The surrounding neighborhood is peaceful and so charming! I do think it would be helpful for the owner to show the stairs so people know what they are getting into. Haha! (Although you’ll be hard pressed to find any house in SH without precarious, tiny stairs.) Unfortunately, the baby gate provided does not fit right with the baseboards in the home & cannot be secured all the way. It can very easily be pushed over. We were very concerned about our son falling down the stairs. Funny enough, my husband ended up slipping on them, but our son did not. Anyway, I think the stairs concern for kids could be easily solved by a semi-perminate babygate that opens & closes like a door and pressure mounts up to walls/baseboards. Just a suggestion, Kevin. :) Thanks again! We really enjoyed our stay!!

If you visit SH this is the place to stay! Everything is exactly as described, convenient to beach, restaurants and feels like home. Best part is Kevin & Kim are sooo responsive to any/all questions (even my dumb ones). We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to beautiful SH!!

We had our daughters bachelorrette party here foe a ong weekend with friends and famiky. It was perfect. The home looks alot smaller than it is in person. The hosts provided everything. Will stay again.

Our second year in a row at this home and we’ve loved it both times. A great location - walking distance to so many things and the home is very well taken care of and clean. I appreciate all the little details that the owners do to make you feel at home!

We are 6 long time friends aged 66 to 83. We love to travel and most of our trips have been to Michigan. We were extremely comfortable in this wonderful house. We shopped in town, spent one afternoon at a winery and another at a tavern. We sat on the front porch and met nice neighbors. We walked to the beach to enjoy the sunsets! All was perfect! We also loved the special Halloween decorations.

Beautiful home within walking distance of beach,, and town. Fun weekend with good friends. Visited Cider Farm, Cranes apple picking , and Michigan wineries. Short drive to Douglas and Sagatauk for more shops and breweries.

This house was great for our first visit to South Haven! It's a beautiful house that is well stocked with everything you need and has a great outdoor space. It's close to the beach, dining, shopping and everything else we needed for a long fall weekend. We hope to visit again in the summer to take full advantage of the yard and the beach!

The weather didn't cooperate like our stay here in September 2021 but having a cozy and clean home to spend a few days with family was so nice :). Your new porch is a nice addition. Thank you!

We really liked our stay at this cozy house. It was two blocks from Lake Michigan which afforded us beautiful sunsets each night. The house had everything we needed for two couples. The kitchen was a bit small but we didn’t use the kitchen except for coffee. Too many good places to eat in South Haven. The owner, Kevin, was very communicative making this a stress free rental and vacation. Would love to come back if we are ever in this area again.

The house was fantastic! Great location, super clean and love that the hosts left a bottle of wine for our visit. Would absolutely recommend this place. A 2 block walk to the beach and less than 15 minute walk into downtown South Haven.

We were very impressed with this property! After being out of the vacation game for a few years this rental went above our expectations! Everything was very well up to date and very clean, even down to the pointed toilet paper rolls, which did not go unnoticed. The beds were more comfortable than your typical rental and slept very well. Even the Murphy bed in the cottage house was amazingly plush. The rental had the quaint feel of an older home from the porch views to the charm of a modern day home with Joanna Gaines-inspired decor. I think that the most impressive part of the rental was when we opened up the added bonus ---THE SHED! WOW! There was so much to explore and use for our beach days! It was impressive! Overall, the rental was perfect for our stay and entertaining our family. We would recommend to anyone and certainly welcome the chance to come again.

This home was all you could ask for and more. Hosts were very thoughtful with all details.. I cooked everyday for our group and this was the best equipped kitchen I have experienced. Outdoor space was great. Location awesome 2 blocks from playground, 2 blocks from lake and beach access. Very, very clean. We had 4 generations on this family vacay and we are already planning for next year and hope we can stay here again. Oh and you are set for the beach. wwagon , chairs, umbrella even 2 small life jackets for the grand girls( thank goodness because we left theirs at home). Like I said"Wow! Simply Amazing!

We have been coming to South Haven for years and have always stayed on or right close to North Beach but wanted more of a yard this year and this was the perfect house! Extremely clean, best stocked property we have ever stayed in. Beds very comfortable. Loved the back patio area and the fire pit. Wonderful proeprty!

Our family of 5 LOVED the house. Plenty of space for our 3 kids to spread out. Grandparents came and visited for a night and used the carriage house which is perfect for such occasions. Not sure you can beat this home’s location. Such a close walk to the blue stairs to the beach, kids corner park is steps away, and close to downtown for all the restaurants and shopping. Perfect location! House has everything you need. Kitchen is fully stocked and Kim and Kevin get you started with a bottle of wine when you arrive. We were ready to book again for next year but already taken. If you’re contemplating this property…book it!
