perfect location with fantastic views of the lake. We stayed with other family so there were 4 adults and 4 kids and the house had plenty of space for all of us to enjoy our downtime after a day of skiing! highly recommend this place to anyone. only wish we could've stayed longer!

Location is excellent and the view is beautiful. Private and quite. Driveway is a bit steep and has to drive carefully. It was easy to deal with Jenny and the key instructions was very clear.

For summer accommodation, it needed shade over the balcony where the barbecue is. Too much late sun in the lounge made it very hot. Master bedroom needed a blind on the door leading to the balcony and a ceiling fan.

A beautiful house with an amazing view. Excellent facilities. Large, comfortable shared spaces with plenty of comfortable furniture - great for the family

There were 2 issues that surprised us about this property. Firstly, the drive is vertiginous! We drove down the first time to unload but after that we left the car at the top, on the road. We have a MPV and manoeuvering it up and down the drive and in and out of the garage was difficult and bit nerve-wracking! Secondly, there are no curtains on one window and the door out to the deck in the master bedroom. At first we thought we were missing something so I contacted the agent who said there had never been window coverings and it had proved impossible to find any to fit the window, which I find surprising. We live in a Lockwood home with many strange shaped windows and have managed to find coverings for them all. The lack of window shadings on these windows means that the room can become extremely hot in the sun and you get woken up at about 5.00 in the summer - not really what you want when you're on holiday!

frequent loud bang from wall/ceiling in the master ensuite. Presumably heat/cold related, causing the roof to buckle. Loud enough to wake us every night. The driveway was dangerous to walk up or down in the rain. My wife would not drive up or down it as it was extremely steep. Sofas not facing TV with one not having a side so you couldn't sit facing the tv, and there was instruction not to move furniture. I would imagine none of these are news to the owner. Lovely apartment though and beautiful views. We wouldn't stay again though because of the above.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The apartment had an incredible view of the lake and had everything we needed for our family holiday. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was amazing to cook in and the whole apartment felt luxurious..

Amazing beautiful view from the lounge/kitchen/dining and master bedroom has a 180 view of Lake Wanaka and mountains. Very comfortable and warm with afternoon sun streaming in.
