We went as a group of 12 (three families of 4) over our Spring Break and had a great week in Placencia! The house was perfect for our group…it was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Catherine, the owner, is lovely and provided some great recommendations for activities. When we had an issue with the air conditioning, she promptly addressed it. The resort pool and beach are just a few minutes walk from the house. Our kids loved the pool and playing volleyball on the beach. This house is a great base for all that Belize has to offer…both on the water (fishing, snorkeling, catamaran) and in the jungle (zip lining, hiking, etc.). We loved our stay and would highly recommend it!

Catherine, the homeowner, was quick to respond even months before our stay to any question we had, as well as offering several suggestions for the local area. All I can say about Catherine is it was much more like working with a good friend, she was kind and thoughtful. Kai and Kimberly (the local contacts) were also lovely and responsive.

We rented for 2 families that were traveling together. The house is large enough that we could all come together but also have our own space. Catherine was great to work with and gave us recommendations on activities and restaurants. We had a lot of questions s before going and she answered everything and had someone that we could contact while we were in Belize. The area is great and well kept and we enjoyed having the resort amenities available. We love Belize and highly recommend renting this house.

Catherine served as a concierge/host/property manager and a friend I didn’t know I had! She sent us a list of her favorite places in Placencia and surrounds, her family’s favorite tours, tour guides. Then she sent us a list of her favorite restaurants. She offered us cleaning services, laundry services, and private chef services (all of which we used) - it was an incredible stay. The house is immaculate. It is set up beautifully for two families (we could have easily had one family stay comfortably downstairs and the other on the two upper levels. But our combined 6 teens decided to stay together downstairs, complete with their own family room space. We baked cookies (the house is even stocked with a rolling pin!), played games, walked to the resort across the street for beach volleyball, the pool, the swim up bar, and New Year’s Eve fireworks. Thanks again Catherine!!! I hope you can also stay in Catherine’s amazing house!!
