This has to be the ideal place to stay in DB! We loved this beautiful home’s location and view. Super close to the beach! Had almost every amenity (no dishwasher but we survived😂)! No difficult stairs for our elderly dog. We’d definitely like to rent it again!

The rating is entirely due to the poor experience I had with the management. The home was very convenient and comfortable, and we enjoyed the stay. My only recommendation would be to add a shower caddy and I also think some mowing and back yard maintenance would be nice. It was tough to see there was even a back gate. I received approval in writing prior to my stay to bring my 2 dogs despite the policy only allowing for 1. I paid the pet deposit. I was charged $250 after my visit and was told it was due to dog hair in the bed. I do know that dogs on furniture or in beds was not allowed. I brought dog crates for the dogs to sleep in because that is how they sleep at home. After explaining this to John (Linda?) I acknowledged they were shedding so there was dog hair in the home but we were not in violation. I would have vacuumed if I had access to a vacuum. He just responded by quoting the contract, including how I violated it because I brought 2 dogs which wasn’t allowed. I responded by referencing the pre-approval email I had, and he just ignored it. He said there was also blood in the bed. I’m not sure which bed because he never responded but I’m guessing it was my daughter’s because she had oral surgery a week prior, it could have been on the pillowcase. I would understand being charged for that if it could not be laundered. I was charged $250 and wasn’t given clear details, photos, receipts -nothing except quoted excerpts from the rental agreement. Awful

Great view and location. Perfect for our small family of 3. Only one bathroom which would have been a challenge if had been a larger group.

We rented this property for my cousin's destination wedding. It's in a charming part of Dillon Beach with amazing views, an incredibly convenient and short walk from the beach and was so close to all the wedding events we had to go to in the Marin County area. The beds were also so soft. Linda was very helpful when we needed to check in early and overall very quick on getting back to me for all my inquiries. Honestly, once I showed the photos of our place to my family, we were the envy of the party for our lodging choices. My only complaint is that the toilet paper is positioned in an awkward spot in the only bathroom. But, that's it! This place was fantastic!! The nautical theme was a bonus charm. Many thanks for everything!

Great place and location. Only issue we’re sliding glass doors.

The views were excellent and it’s a short walk to the beach. There has been deferred maintenance: toilet runs constantly, the second bedroom light makes a crackling sound indicating a short/fire hazard, sliding door handle is broken and doors are hard to move. Everything seemed in need of tlc.

We booked this very last minute girls trip and were just hoping for something decent and it ended up being perfect. It was a great location with a great view and fit 6 grown women perfectly. We had a beautiful time. We will recommend to others.

This is a great house in a great location, short walk to the beach and campground. The house is quirky, clearly an addition was made at some point that is quite different from the rest. But the views of the ocean are phenomenal. Beds are comfy. The house could really use some updated furniture and some additions to make it more comfortable, such as nightstands in the large bedroom and a coffee table or ottoman. The seating area in the living room is not comfortable, the small couch is terrible. So don’t plan on hanging out there for long. Bit of a bummer to only have one bathroom for six people. Bring your own puzzles and games, very little selection on hand. Kitchen is small and not very organized but seems well stocked and appliances are newer and nice. Be prepared to wash and dry dishes. Property manager was responsive when we needed an item. Overall, great house, great location; some additional thought and basic comfort items into it would make it even better!

Great location and rental

My son and his wife and 3-year-old stayed there and my husband and I hung out there during the day. We so enjoyed the high table and chairs and spent most of our time there -- talking, playing games, etc. -- and on the wonderfullly close-at-hand beach. My only quibble would be that someone needs to do some work on the kitchen -- improve the lighting and electric outlets and get rid of half the silverware -- that kind of thing. A great kitchen range, though . . .

For the price, I guess this home isn’t bad. It is just that it isn’t very nice on the inside. It’s almost like two homes were smushed together into a single home. Half of the home was clean and bright. The other half was dark and, in the kitchen, dirty. I had planned to cook when we were there but when we arrived the kitchen reeked of bacon, like it was in the wood. The smell didn’t go away all weekend. The location was great. It just isn’t a “nice” place. We plan to return to Dillon Beach but we won’t stay here next time.

We stay here every year and we love it. Perfect location for the beach and a great space for a family.

Quiet, relaxing and beautiful views!

Loved the property but the lighting is poor in many rooms. House number should be by front door not kitchen door

Husband, son, and I enjoyed our stay for a weekend getaway. The home is in a PERFECT location, with the beach a block away and the Market/Kitchen just across the street. The back fence has a gate which made it so easy to pop in and out throughout the day as we moved back and forth from the beach to the house. The home is older, but it has loads of charm, comfortable and clean. Beds/linen were comfortable and the views were awesome. Don't underestimate the need for pexiglass barriers on the deck...the wind during sunset can whip and the back deck was perfect for protected sunset viewing. We felt lucky to be welcomed into what is obviously a family home and couldn't help but wonder about the family story. There's several paintings that decorate the walls that were done by who we referred to as 'grandma'. Just a lovely place to stay. We are already looking for open dates to stay again before the end of summer. Thank you so much!

I loved my time at Dillon Beach. My house was perfectly located and had a wonderful view which I enjoyed from my deck and all the windows facing the ocean. I intend to return to the same property again in the future.

Amazing views, lots of fun details.

This property had the fantastic views and closeness to the beach that I really wanted for my mothers day get away. The kitchen was perfect for cooking in, and the beds were comfortable. The only note I would make isthat this property has a sunken living room, meaning there are some steps and this could be an issue for folks who struggle with mobility. Great stay!

House felt bigger than advertised. Excellent view of the water, walking distance to local store and beach. Will use again!

We had a good time. The house had 3 cozy bedrooms and well-equipped kitchen minus a garbage disposal or dishwasher. The living area could use a larger couch that’s more suitable for family. Seating is awkward and not very comfortable for more than two people. The TV was limited to Netflix and a few apps. Recommend bringing your own fire stick. The location to the beach and the corner market are ideal. And again the views can’t be beat! Would have liked to have had access to a barbecue as well but overall good stay.

Very nicely decorated quaint home with a view. The original part of the home was built in the beginning of the last century with solid woods but updated nicely the addition with the bedroom with the view of the ocean is worth the stay. We enjoyed the shelter deck with views of the ocean sleeping at night hearing the waves crash on the beach and just a block and a half away from your front door. The fireplace is an LP gas heater in the addition living area was a nice warm touch to have the flames burning when heating the house but don’t bring any wood unless you want to burn it on the beach. Parking is a little tight on the side of the street but workable. Dillon Beach has a feel like stepping back in time you almost feel like you’re back in the 40s and 50s, A small quiet community revolving around the beach activities with no commercialization or high tourist activity. A place to visit and I definitely plan to again.

Great location and very comfortable place.

This house is perfect for a family and some in laws! Great location and amazing views! We had everything we needed in yhe kitchen. No dishwasher or washer dryer, which wasn't a big deal for us. New updated appliances! Fantastic place!

Loved the location. Interior stairs are slightly treacherous and my husband almost seriously hurt himself on them. But once we figured out how to move around in the space it was fine. I don’t suggest this for elderly people. But the views and decks and pretty much everything was great. We couldn’t get the TVs to work but who cares. We had iPads. Only real complaint was the couch was uncomfortable and next time I’ll bring an ottoman or stuff to put feet up on.

We had a wedding at Dillion Beach and this spot served to be just right. I chose this property because it was my parents and us and needed at least two rooms. It is close to the beach and local store as well as where we had the wedding. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, making breakfast in the kitchen, and slept so well with the sound of the ocean. There is only one bathroom but was not a problem.
