There was never a crowd at the elevators, which has been a problem at other condos we have stayed in the past, and the indoor pools/hottubs were great. The location of the condo on the beach and distance to our favorite restaurants was great.

The condo was beautiful, however, we did have a few concerns. The primary issue was with the hot tub, which we were excited about using considering the cool spring weather. The water was green and clearly not well maintained. When we reached out to management to have the hot tub cleaned, we received no response the entire week, and when the hot tub maintenance person showed up at the end of the week on Thursday, he was there for his regular schedule, and was not made aware of our complaint/concerns about the hot tub earlier in the week. In addition, he said that he didn't have the materials to clean out the hot tub and couldn't do it until Friday (the day before we left), and he didn't return on Friday. I hope he returned before the next guests arrived.
The other issue was with the master bed, which was not very comfortable and very lumpy.
Generally, we had a great stay, loved the area of the beach the condo was on, and really enjoyed the space of the condo for the two families that stayed together.

This is a beautiful condo, one of the best I have ever stayed in. So much space and very open. The views were amazing on the oversized porch! Love the location too!

Loved the condo! The beds were very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The only thing I think it could use is more patio furniture. As it's sleeps 14, seating on the massive balcony is for only 6 people. Other thing negative about The Turquoise (not this condo directly) is the parking. When you have a condo that sleeps 14, you should receive parking passes for more than 2 cars.

Let’s start with the positive. Huge condo. ALL the bathrooms were SUPER nice. Loved that they had a separate ice machine at the mini bar. Also the sub-below frig was awesome. Had to get use to the oven because it was convectional plus regular oven. Liked that it had a bar by pool. The air conditioning would freeze you out just being on 73. The kids loved the hot tub on the balcony. The grill on the balcony was the best.Now the bad but not bad enough that I wouldn’t stay here again. First off, their attention to cleanliness wasn’t great. (But NO I did not call and complain for them to come and reconcile the issue..it wasn’t bad enough) but you need to know. There was old watwr bottle under LR chair which is still there, found an earring in couch which is on coffee table now, dryer sheets in the floor, pencil in the floor, on the chaise lounge in bunk bed room there was something white all over it. But we didn’t use that room anyway. On the bench coming in back door, Some parents let their kids scribble on it with a pen like it was a coloring book. There wasn’t but I think 1 kitchen towel and rag. We used a wash rag for wiping counters down. It just needs a good scrubbing. The door coming in to living room balcony has never been wiped down I don’t think. Not the glass but the frame part. The elevators were so stinking slow...we went to see if we could check in and the desk acted like they didn’t have a clue. I also noticed if you rented through spectra they provided beach towels and a bag of coupons, wristbands instead of keys, free dvd rentals where Phoenix offers nothing. But over all even with the bad stuff we would stay here again. Because we have stayed in way worse. So it was just aggravating because we had our hopes up to stay here since it was our first time and as much as it cost I thought it would be cleaner. I really don’t think anyone checks behind the cleaning crew so there is no accountability. But AGAIN I would stay again.

The Pros:This condo in Turquoise Place is basically as seen in photos. It is spacious and in a decent location on Orange Beach. The pools are as pictured and well kept. The beach is fine, white sand and easily accessed and plenty of chairs for rental. The kitchen is well stocked, and the appliances are great. We especially loved the ice maker. It was really nice to have a grill on the balcony. The staff were courteous and pleasant.The cons:Coming off the elevator the hallway was disgusting. Food wrappers, trash, lint balls greasy hand prints and filthy carpet greeted us. I emailed Charlotte about it repeatedly, and while she is prompt to respond and even promised to clean it herself when housekeeping did nothing it remained filthy the entirety of our trip. The living room couch is in awful shape, constantly separates, stained and uncomfortable. The minute it moves on the floor it is apparent housekeeping has never moved it and swept/mopped since it’s been there. Owner seriously needs to consider new furniture. There were food wrappers in two of the bedrooms upon our arrival. Housekeeping is terrible to say the list. The balcony and hot tub on the balcony were also filthy. The master bath jacuzzi does not work. The master bedroom bed is terrible. Serious sunken places from age I guess. The 2 middle guest rooms do not seem to get completely cool...asked a maintenance man about this and he said he’d have it seen about but it never happened either. The bunk room is farthest from the Master , has access to the balcony and is the closest to the entry door. I understand why it is the bunk room bc it has the bath with a tub shower, but the distance from the kids room to the master and it’s proximity to the entry door was something I did not care for. The towels in one of the guest room baths were filthy and in a pile on the floor...not sure if left over from housekeeping but not great. Some food stuff was left in both the fridge and the freezer we had to dispose of. The balcony furniture is a joke, very uncomfortable/old/in disgusting condition, balcony floor was filthy, hot tub works on the balcony but was dirty and small...3 adults at most. In closing, this condo could be amazing if housekeeping would do a better job, repairs made and new furniture purchase it might be worth what they ask a night. We left wishing we would’ve tried a different unit in the same building.

Very well furnished, clean ! Spacious for our large family!!

Overall the Condo was very nice and the view was amazing. However, there were a couple of things that could have been better...the shower handle in the 2nd master bedroom fell off and the shower was dirty. The wait for the elevators was long. Again, overall very pleased with the property and would definitely go back.

Gorgeous property! Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was fabulous and very well stocked. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms and closets were all great, esp the master suite! Wow! Only negative was the oven takes a long time to heat up and the Teflon pans need to be replaced. They still worked but they are very scraped up. We would definitely stay here again and are already looking at dates!

Had a great time!

Turquoise is a stunning property that has enough amenities to keep you entertained for days on site. Unit 1109C was a wonderful layout and large enough for 2 large families. Dual Bunk beds is a perfect room for kids! All beds were comfortable, and the decor was very nicely done. My only complaints/suggestions - and they are by no means deal breakers - are: Better outdoor patio furniture (I.e dining table and chairs) would be great Kitchen wares (pots/pans/etc) could use updating and organizing Microwave door sticks Oven randomly stops getting hot Outdoor grill should be looked at (hard to get a couple of burners lit). Main room tv should have instructions. All in all, a great time was had.
