Clean house Big enough

The house is clean and comfortable with enough beds and rooms. Especially loved the view of the river with cruises. We strongly recommend this house to others.

We spend 5 lovely days at the shore house with our daughter and her family. Everyone had a fantastic few days. We enjoyed the garden and the private pebble beach at the bottom of the garden.

Shore House is in a beautiful location on the banks of Loch Lomond with a large garden and its own beach. The house Is dated but was very clean with a good supply of logs for the open fire. There was a problem with the heating system which was quickly remedied by the owners however our query about a missing sitting room curtain was unanswered, The master bedroom ensuite smelled slightly damp. Despite these minor irritations, our party which included 2 dogs and a baby had a lovely stay.

Booked for a family birthday so had an age range from 4 weeks to 90. The welcome pack was much appreciated and Liz was amazing, she helped us with a heating problem even when she wasn’t on duty. Only one personal thing, I prefer a softer mattress

we loved everything about Scotland and shore house, we would definitely come back and would like to stay at the same house again, just one thing was missing, some hooks in the bathroom/en suites would have been great xx

My wider family (8 people) had a fantastic stay at Shore House, Tarbet. The view alone is enough to take your breath away. The house is effectively a convenient, single level layout with the bedrooms away from the living accommodation, which makes it really nicely spaced (noise, away from cooking smells etc). Lovely mature, well-managed garden which touches the Loch. Plenty of kitchen utensils, large full height fridge and large full height freezer, utility room and 3 bedrooms have en-suite facilities with one of the larger bedrooms (without en suite) being alongside the family bathroom, so this all works well. Tarbet is really convenient for getting around this Loch as well as the nearby ones (Long, Fyne, Katharine etc) and also for taking the ferry around Lomond and to the other side (eastern). all in all a wonderful stay. thanks so much! adam

Should of stayed longer, access to the water/beach could/should maybe improved, just need someone to come up with a way to exterminate midges. The whole family really enjoyed it.

Shore cottage was even nicer than expected. Spacious and well equipped, spotlessly clean and with many thoughtful touches. The views were fantastic and it was lovely to be able to wander through the garden and down to the lake (we swam there every day). Although some things were shut locally due to lockdown, we still managed to do nearly everything we planned including wake-boarding, hiring bikes and taking a boat trip. Liz was exceptionally helpful and flexible with lockdown uncertainties - responding very quickly to emails, changing dates and so on. Our whole experience was very positive and we would certainly go again and highly recommend to others.

Great weekend was had by us, ladies at Shore House, Tarbet.We are a group of friends who meet up annually for a quality catch up. The property was ideal, clean and well equipped,directly situated on the shore with beautiful views over the loch and mountains. We had a lovely time just chilling, drinking and enjoying the beautiful views from all of the windows. We also received a discount for a boat trip which was also enjoyable. We would thoroughly recommend and certainly be back.

We booked this beautiful home for a family get together. The house is huge and very comfortable. Everything you need is there. The views are amazing. Peaceful, tranquil and perfect. What more could you ask for.

Lovely bungalow in a lovely setting only little faults could do with either more kindling or some fire lighters for the fire lights outside do not seem to come on around paths

Family holiday - some of us drove up from London and others from Ayrshire. The house and location looked great on the website - but they were even more amazing on arrival!!! we stayed from 18th - 24th September - waking up to a view of the loch each morning and the fabulous house and garden made it difficult to leave to explore the surrounding area. more than enough room for 10 people and great living space for everyone to share or have some quieter time in the evenings. lots to do and see in the surrounding area - including cruises on the Loch which are a must!!! We had a fabulous time and would certainly return.

Shore House is perfectly located not just because of the superb views of Loch Lomond but for the local train station, shop and bar. The house and garden are immaculate. There was a minor problem of one broken and uncomfortable settee in the conservatory which needs fixing to ensure all guests can sit. Also a curtain needs to be replaced in the living room as they don’t close. Otherwise no complaints.

Great place to stay on a great location. The house has everything you need and is very spacious for 10 people, with great views looking over the loch. We loved our stay thank you.

We had a lovely weekend with family celebrating my Mum’s special birthday. The views and gardens are just beautiful and the dogs loved the space too!! The house is very clean, spacious and comfort and has everything you need. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Shore House, the property was large and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay on Loch Lomond. We were given all the assistance we needed by both Auchenheglish Luxury Lodges and the owners of the Shore house to make our stay very memorable. This part of Scotland is so beautiful and the view of the loch and mountains from Shore House were spectacular. Looking forward to coming back again soon. Thank you.

Very nice cottage with fabulous outlook over Loch Lomond. One issue when we first got there next door (boat yard), their dog was roaming around garden, owner finally caught it and confined to the boat yard. Garden is stunning, and very relaxing holiday.
