Lovely location overlooking the Wye. Easy access to local pubs etc. Lots of lovely walks from the village.

right in the village, it is on a main road so there is no getting away from that. Parking available which was great. walkable to pubs and Tintern Abby. Lots of pubs and restaurants in such a small place. Lovely views of the river. Flat a good size, bed comfortable all you really need. Hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Well not much you can do about the road noise but again it is on a busy road.

Wye View was one of our favourite places on our 8 week road trip of the UK and Ireland. The flat was warm and cosy with a huge window overlooking the river. The kitchen was well-equipped, and although there’s no supermarket in the village, everything is pretty close so we found one nearby. We used Wye View as our base for a trip to Cardiff and Cwmbran and we also popped over to Bristol for a gig (only about 35 minutes). Tintern itself is beautiful and the abbey is breathtaking. We’d love to return one day.

It was tricky getting the water temperature in the shower just right.

I loved how seamless it was to book and check in and obtain keys contactlessly and we were greeted by a lovely touch of a bottle of prosecco for new year's eve which was a very nice surprise! The parking was convenient and the location was excellent - overlooking the river Wye and a 5 min walk to tintern abbey. We had some wonderful walks out in both directions and the apartment is just a 10 minute drive from Chepstow and it's castle if you wanted to go into town. The flat is fully equipped, warm comfortable and clean and everything we needed for the stay. Thankyou for the hospitality we would stay again!

I liked everything there but just some minor points as feedback - we couldn't get the TV to work to watch the NYE fireworks but that wasn't a major issue in the end, we made our own entertainment. The owners are aware of condensation which they are proactively managing and the water pressure is a little light however the water is lovely and warm. Nothing that spoiled our stay and this is a fabulous apartment that I am very glad we chose

The location of the flat is overlooking the river wye which was delightful. It is placed in the in the village of Tintern which is a beautiful village and walks around the village and beyond are accessible from the flat, which we really enjoyed. The hosts left lots of notes and instructions so we didn't need any additional help during the stay. The flat was well equipped - we cooked Christmas dinner in the flat, which was trouble-free.

The shower wasn't very powerful and the hot/cold settings a bit temperamental. There seems to be a condensation issue in the flat but the owner seems to be aware and there is evidence that they try to manage it.

Food cupboard space would be nice - but this didn't detract from our stay and the kitchen was nice and well equipped. Everything was well explained. Location was great. Just the odd thing needs slight attention such the toilet seat and shower. But overall a great stay and would return.

The flat was lovely and very well equipped. I booked this for my in laws and they loved it, was a home away from home for them. This was their first trip to Wales since we moved here 7 years ago, now they cant wait to come again. The owner was very helpful and kept in contact throughout the stay to assure all was good and we had all we needed. We are hoping to book again in the spring for longer for their next visit.

Have no complaints at all. Was great.

There was a slight issue with the plumbing on our planned day of arrival. Suzette the host turned what could have been a stressful start to a holiday into a series of pleasant interactions.

We attended the Folk on the lawn festival. Excellent find, great apartment. Wonderful views over the river. Within walking distance of two pubs. Ideal location, ideal accommodation. Can't wait to return.

Fantastic coffee machine, maybe an instruction leaflet would be good, sorry if we missed it. We got there with a YouTube clip 👍

Everything from start to finish was perfect. The apartment is really well equipped and nicely decorated. I will be re booking again at the first opportunity. We only came back yesterday and we are already missing the place.

Location splendid

Great location overlooking the river with private parking. Short walk to Abbey and also toThe Anchor pub which was excellent. Flat was spotlessly clean with lovely views. Owner kept in touch and responded quickly to messages.

I know this is nothing to do with the accomdation but Abbey Mill, The Rose and Crown along with the cafes and Ice Cream shop were all closed on Mondays and Tuesdays which is the days we were there.
