The property was beautiful. Everything you could possibly want was included and it was very clean and well maintained

The only thing I would suggest is a handrail on the steps up to the property and also perhaps up the wall on the indoor stairs. I had my elderly parents with me who found it difficult to get up the steps/stairs without a rail to hold onto

The lighting in the big family bedroom was too gothic for my taste and it could do with having lower bedside lights which operated independently from each other.

The double bedrooms at the south end of the property would have benefited from having kingsize beds. But the bed was very comfy. It's a shame that the west side of the property grounds were not accessible as this is where the afternoon sun shines.

Nothing could have been done better

This is a fabulous self-catering holiday property; ample equipment, the most comfortable beds and sofas imaginable, fantastic views, rural but just a few miles from interesting places to walk and visit. The accommodation suits an extended family. We wish we had booked to stay longer!

Would have appreciated a teapot, but everything else was perfect.

Light, big rooms very well appointed and luxurious. Fresh flowers in kitchen. Luxury bed and pillows, Egyptian cotton covers, and totally quiet at night. Thoughtful touches provided throughout by the hosts. Wonderful location with Tintern Abbey within walking distance on footpaths across grasy fields.
