Excellent breakfast served by lovely caring staff.
The room was very small and cramped. Nowhere to put bags, nowhere to hang a used wet towel. Being on a very busy road the traffic noise was intrusive and I didn’t sleep too well as a result.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food in the evening was excellent quality and prices reasonable. Breakfast was served as requested on time and freshly cooked.
Some traffic noise in the morning but as it is located on the side of a main road was expected. Pre ordering breakfast as I never really know what I would like until the morning.

Country pub, full of character and period features (open fireplace, low beams, wonky floors) with fabulous, friendly and helpful staff; huge portions of well cooked food; comfy bed; big shower cubicle.

When we arrived there was a power cut, but the staff were very accommodating and even managed to make us a cup of tea after our long journey as we couldn’t use the facilities in the bedroom. The power came back on before too long thankfully.
The food in the restaurant was very enjoyable.
The mattress on our double bed was rather uncomfortable.

Very friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. Good value for money both with accomodation meals and drinks.
Bedroom was lovely and warm with a comfy bed... complimentary water and great size TV.

Comfortable, warm and very clean room. Bed was comfortable and the room was a very good size which we weren't expecting. All the facilities we needed. Good for a one night stay.
Toilet made slightly strange noises when flushed and tap was temperamental with pressure. Our room was right above the bar, where noise traveled, so an undisturbed early night would not have been possible. However this settled down by 11.00pm and it was quiet from there on out.

The breakfast was more than expected, both in quantity and variety.
The only thing I would have included was a loo brush!
